A staple of video gaming is to always try your best... and to fail again and again and again and again until you get it right.

A staple of many video game series, most notably adventure games, was to offer a very large variety you could fail and die as well as a variety of game over messages, most often humorous.

The goal here is to make adventure game-styled theorical game over sequences that could happen in the Spyro setting.

Here is a basic form to help with creating those:

-way to die or fail (what is is exactly)-
(which character it affect. Spyro and Cynder are the most probable entries here)

-Insert a humorous, parody-esque final state of the character being shown here.

-Finall, the game over message itself. Again, make it funny!

Here are a few theorical game over sequences I made.

-Death by falling into a bottomless pit-
(Spyro)

Animation shows Spyro all beaten up and spring-like like in a cartoon.

Sparx says: "Nice landing, ace! You're improving!"

(Cynder)
Animation shows Cynder flat as a pancake, only her tail sticking out, twitching incontrollably.

Sparx says: "Wow! Impressive swan dive off that cliff, Cyn'! How about an encore?"


-Killed by ape enemies-
(Spyro)
Animation shows Spyro being caught in-between two hamburger buns.

Sparx says: "Boy, you're sure that purple color on your scales is not paint? Just askin' because for one supposed to be a super-powerful purple dragon of destiny or whatever, that 'lil ape sure made a monkey out of you!"

(Cynder)
Animation shows Cynder lying down on a plate, an apple in her mouth. She seems surprised.

Sparx says: "Now that's what I call a worker's union "strike"! Don't those guys have any respect for their boss?... well, ex-boss?"


-Drown into water-
(Spyro)
Animation shows Spyro wearing a scuba mask and a snorkel.

Sparx says: "Yeah, you're dead and all... but considering you were born and raised in a SWAMP, that's kind of ironic."

(Cynder)
Animation shows Cynder wearing a scuba equipment.

Sparx says: "Yeah, you got quite the sexy, sleek figure, Cyn'! That doesn't mean you're an aquatic dragoness, though! Yep, you drown. Too bad."


-Shoot yourself by messing with Hunter's bow-
(Cynder)

Animation shows Cynder lying down on her back, her body twitching in pain. She have an ice pack placed on her right eye.

Sparx says: "I know I always told you I hated you and wanted you to off yourself... but geez! Didn't had to take me literally, here!"
