The guy with the 4 leaf clover shirt said "Irish"

Also by saying being racist about the Irish is okay because you yourself are Irish is kinda complete crap imo, it's like me saying I can be racist to african-americans because I have a few black cousins.

When you think of Saint Patricks day you think of "luck", 4 leaf clovers, and leprechauns (with this making you think about ireland)
The first guy is just asking if the guy is lucky (the 4 leaf clover on his shirt)
The second guy is saying irish. Ever heard of the phrase "luck of the irish"? Not all irish people are lucky


Also the part about me being able to say it is kinda like how an african-american can call people (enter the word that darkspyro likely has on censor) without it being considered as racist.

But the guy didn't assume he was Irish
and you just presented yourself the reason it's not racist, the fact that there's a saying about Irish people being lucky, plus Leprechauns are Irish lore and they are all about luck and such.
