all 4 no. as for bolded, I've been to events where they (used) to give goldfish IN PLASTIC BAGS to special needs kids AT A EVENT. WITHOUT ANY CARE SHEETS OR ANYTHING! My mom and aunt were PISSED! they wrote letters, and they stopped. We rescued some of the fish one year, and they lived for about a month. They were goldfish btw

No; keep them in a Petri dish.
Only if you put them in the microwave afterward.
Yes.
No. Do some experimentation on them.

1. No, fish tanks are MUCH better
2. Not at all, but they dont move much so they dont need that much room to float.
3. Absolutely not
4. If the disease is fatal then maybe

three months ago i got a goldfish from a carnival . i got him in an insanely small plastic cup (the types they put bettas in) with blue water (tranquilized water) and it was just so pitiful. he's still alive to this day now thankfully <33
the reason carnival fish die so quickly is because they're just so stressed out from getting transported to the fair and then transported home

betta fish are actually really active. if your betta fish is just floating around, it's depressed.
is flushing a live fish down a toilet considered humane

now, betta flish DO float around, but if it's spending its whole day just floating around and not swimming your betta fish needs some improvements in its life

what really makes me mad when it comes to betta care is people think that in the wild, betta fish live in puddles
they DON'T. they live in PADDIES. PADDIES CAN GET UP TO 6 FEET DEEP.
because of the confusion, pet owners and store owners think it's ok to store betta fish in the smallest fricken containers imaginable. just why.
a betta fish needs a minimum of 5 gallons, but even that is JUST the minimum.

Oh wow! my sister wants a betta, i might have to tell her stuff from this topic. I'm an enthusiast about making sure the skylander brats (kids) don't wind up killing their other crabs. AND THEY HAVE A BETTA NOW! OMFG

owning a fish is a lot more than just buying a tank, dumping water in it, and just putting your fish in it. before you get one, pleaaaaaseeeee do research on how to properly keep a betta.

no to all of them
though i don't really have a problem with walmart fish, though they should have betas in a special divided tank rather than in containers on a shelf
there are probably better places for getting fish in general than walmart though

a lot of walmarts, including the ones in my area, treat the fish they have like GARBAGE. im trying to get everyone to sign a petition to end this, and i would post it, but i'm afraid of it being considered advertising :x
