Title says all. Did you guys have any movies from 2014 that you liked or disliked?

i actually wrote a whole Top 10 Best and Worst lists, but i'd rather not create a wall of text unless someone asks. My favorite film of the year was How to Train Your Dragon 2 and my worst was The Legend of Hercules.

EDIT: I'll just write my top 10 worst and best and save the details.

I didn't see as many movies this year as I wanted to. But eh, I'll see if I can cobble together a Top 10 for the lolz. Not necessarily in a particular order except for maybe 1 and 10.

Actually, that's less a Top 10 and more just a general list of the films I was able to see... Oops. Well, excluding Muppets: Most Wanted. I saw that, too. And...nothing else. Welp.

I acknowledge that Divergent, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Maleficent were very flawed films, but I can't help but like them anyways.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier and How to Train Your Dragon blew me away, so it was hard choosing. And though I usually hate the Transformers films, I was able to get some enjoyment out of Age of Extinction once I accepted the fact that it was a 'dumb action movie'. To be fair to it, though, it's definitely a step in the right direction for the film series as cut down on some of the problems I had with the previous films (do note, I never saw Dark of the Moon).

Edge of Tomorrow was an excellent movie and needed more attention than it got, IMO. At least The LEGO Movie and X-Men: Days of Future Past did well, I guess. You can't win them all.

I really did enjoy Godzilla (2014), but there are still things about it that bug me so I'll admit to putting it low on the list on purpose. I'm sorry to anyone that bothers, but it's how I feel.

Well

Mockingjay Part 1 was good
Guardians of Galaxy was ok
Maleficent was pretty good
Godzilla was eh
Divergent was, admitably, good
Maze Runner was actually cool IMO

I always wanted to watch Maze Runner....:/

the hobbit and guardians of the galaxy were both great

I think I've only seen two movies that came out this year... Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier and Mockingjay Part 1 (both were great). There's so many others that came out this year that look so good though

EDIT: Well, I've finally seen I, Frankenstein. I don't think it's as bad as everyone made it out to be. It wasn't that great or anything, but I felt it was decent.

Whiplash was the best movie by far.

Least favorite was Maleficent.

I saw Divergent, HTTYD2, Maze Runner and Big Hero 6, and I liked all of them so...

Those are the only movies I've seen this year. With the exception of Big Hero 6 because it's not on DVD, I own all of them, so I've been good with movies this year.
