Prelude

Warfang, the lush Dragon City, stood in the distance. It was a time where Dragons were quite revered, yet some proved to be the rarest....in the Underground City, a dark red Dragoness came. A chain attached on her neck with two shadow Dragons following her.

''We have her, Master Draconis.'' One of the shadow Dragons said. A large, black Dragon smirked as he crossed eyes with the Dragoness. ''The last of the empath Dragons...at last...'' He said. The Dragoness growled as she broke free of the chain tackling the large Dragon. ''I'll kill you after what you've done to the others!!!'' She roared.

''We'll see about that!!!''

The Dragon reared his head back and roared. The roar caused a great earthquake splitting the Underground City in half, as a monster came, having a thirst for blood in his eyes. The Dragoness backed away as she felt fear take over her. ''Farewell, whelpling!!!" The Dragon said as he watched the monster creep over the Dragoness, surrounding her in a blanket of blackness.

''Not yet!!!''

The Dragoness's eyes glowed bright yellow as her body turned bright red, swallowing the monster and slowly turning to ice....

Chapter 01
A Day in Warfang

A gray Dragon descended from the skies, and landed towards Warfang with his wings spread out. He was Crayton, a time Dragon. Crayton looked over the blue Dragon who smiled as he emerged from the shadows. ''What a graceful landing, son!'' He excalimed. Crayton smiled.

''Gee, thanks Ash.''

''I'm still your father, Crayton!!!'' Ash reminded him. ''Come, I have something to show you.'' As they walked, Dragons and Moles, the architects of Warfang, greeted them.

''Good day!''
''Greetings!''
''Had a good morning?''

In the main courtyard, a shining golden gate stood strong and sturdy. ''You have been chosen as next Protector, Crayton.''
