This topic will talk about the stock on these two packs for those who don't have them.

Bone dry. If you didn't pick them up when available, not sure when the restock will happen.

Just wait a few weeks...they'll be everywhere and they are arriving at TRU, Target, and Best Buy almost daily. You'll be sick of seeing them in a month. Lousy scalpers really aren't making much money on them...out of curiosity, I just checked EBay and both the packs together are selling for about $90...considering they are $64 plus tax at TRU, they might be making $10-15 max after shipping and EBay fees. The expansion packs are bulkier than the standard adventure packs. If you must have them sooner than a few weeks, I'd check in with Best Buy and Target when their shipments come in. Many stores may keep them in the back if there isn't room on the pegs in store.

I thought they were Toys R Us exclusives.

Read the forum a bit closer...they've been spotted elsewhere. No sightings at Walmart or GameStop yet.

EDIT - sighted at Walmart now too according to a thread in toys and merchandise!

They were briefly a timed exclusive but have since come into stock (and left as rapidly) in other stores. Just wait, they'll be warming pegs before too long.

My stores never stock but have they been seen in OH or PA? I would like to know because I need them now.

i went to toys r us all my stores are had at least some of wave 3 today got tm at walmart cores at target and tons of light and dark packs at tru i would check mine was bone dry on sunday

I can confirm that I've seen (and obtained) a Light pack from a Toys R Us in Miamisburg, OH. I got one of the last four that were out, though, and that was the day they released.

I got the last light pack at a local Best Buy just a few hours ago.

Thanks for all your help I'll try Target and Bust Buy when we have the chance. This reminds me of the Thumpback and Eye Brawl. I can't have 1 I need both at the same time. So did anyone see both the light and dark in OH or PA?

I went to my TRU today to use my rewards points. When these were stocked early morning on 12/21 there were about 3 dozen or so of each element pack, they were gone today. This is just one store.

I see TRU did add light element pack to their website recently but you cant ship or pick up from store on there yet.

There were 60 at my TRU, but it is the holiday season and the foot traffic in stores is nuts...not just for Skylanders, but overall. The light pack has been on their website since last Sunday, but never in stock to my knowledge. These were just one of many hot seller toys this holiday season. Poor planning on the part of Activision to release them the week of Christmas and create a frenzy for them. The release of other figures in wave 3 recently I'm fine with, but these really should have been in wave 2.5 or released several weeks ago in their own special release. Now we'll one day look back at the release of 2 new elements as a poorly executed Christmas week cash grab rather than a special event they could have made it out to be. You'd think they would have done more to announce the introduction of 2 new elements to the general public who don't read fan forums or follow Skylanders on Facebook or Twitter.

I just got both them at my Walmart! And they were the only ones!

First on December 27th, never mind those who got them on the 21st or earlier!

I went to the Milford CT store this morning and they had plenty of both packs and had them on sale. I was also able to get a Trailblazer and the last Cobra Cadabra.

Wished i waited though...Target down the road had both new cores and the 3 new Trapmasters for Bogo 40% as well. Could've saved a couple of dollars on the cores.

Wife was in a tru this evening they hIt is just after xmas so ppl are spending xmas gift cards on stuff etc. I'd say by mid jan/early feb these will be sitting on shelves all over.

Just got them both at Gamestop today in Owatonna, MN. they had too more of each.

I ordered them both in the morning on New Year's Eve from GameStop website. They were delivered on 1/2/15 before noon. Not a bad way to go as we were away for New Year's anyway. Only $6 for normal UPS. Well worth it.

where could you buy them in holland?

Been to multiple Gamestop stores and they have plenty of stock of both packs.

Not sure when we'll get another shipment, I really don't care if we don't get one. I'm playing with my lights and darks right now, actually. THEY'RE SOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOD!

GS has plenty of stock on Light and Dark as of 1/6/15. They just got them in my area. BB is bone dry, so GC has been no help lately.

So, my local Wal-Mart had one dark pack left when we checked, and then my GameStop had three Light packs whenever we called a couple days later, but they all got sold in a couple hours. Thankfully, we were able to order one, and it arrived yesterday.

Gamestop is having skylanders day on 01-10-15 and the light and dark packs are 10$ off if you buy both!

I picked up the last dark and they only had one light left when I left last night...so all stock gone within a day. Anyone hoping for the deal better hope they get a second round of stock later this week from the looks of it. Reminds me of the last Skylanders Day I went to that had none of the new figures (but did have minis, so it delivered).

You piqued my interest so I went and looked at gamestop.com. I have 6 gamestops within 12 miles of me. 1 (the one I went to) is out as it doesn't even show up on the list when I search. I guess that means out. The other 5...2 have low stock...3 are in stock. Not really sure how many constitute "in stock" or "low stock" or how many each store got, but there's still some out there. Online is out of stock. Either way, I expect that $10 off to be a "while supplies last" fiasco.

It really isn't that hard to get one of each if you look around and actively want them. Between 2 TRU release days and the online availability I saw last week at Amazon and GameStop, it's not like you can't get them. If you're the lackadaisical type who expects to wander into a store and see a bunch of them on pegs, then you may be disappointed right now and may need to wait a month or so for wave 3 to fully flood stores. Part of me thinks Activision is happy with the perceived rarity or difficulty to find factor when waves are first released, but I think it negatively hurts their bottom line by not flooding stores with these right now and allows scalpers to get their $5-20 or so profit by snatching them up & reselling. There's no reason why they can't form a better relationship with Amazon and send them a couple pallets of figures upon release so that supply can meet demand or allow for preordering. Somebody is dropping the ball bigtime at Activision by not forming a better partnership with Amazon. It's why we haven't seen any exclusives from Amazon since the Giants era gold Flameslinger.

It may be 3, but I thought I had once bought something (there were 3 and the site said "in stock), and when I checked again at home, it had changed to "low stock". I know the GS I just went to, they had only 2 of each element expansion there. I bought one of each and was shocked to see the $10 off discount is already being applied on Wednesday night. If they all have low stock in your area, now's the time to get it! Hopefully the sale comes up for everyone else already.

so i went to my closest gamestop and the last 2 got bought by some scalper scum. so i had them hold me one at a gamestop a little ways from me, and i got it.

Is it $10 off each or $5 off each ($10 total)??? If $10 off each, it's a decent deal at this time. If $5 off each, then it's just $1 more than those who get $6 off with Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked...it's still cheaper than a TRU BOGO 40% sale given the $2 TRU markup.

It's $5 off of each for a total of $10. So with tax it only cost me $52 and change.
