Yeah, i'm looking to buy it. where to look?

Yay! Another thread asking where to get one Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be mean, just fooling around. But it really doesn't take much to look at the other threads to find your answer.

But, to answer your question, it's hard to say. Toys R Us was the only store to officially get them (according to the press release that they would be exclusive for a time). No one knew what that time would be and some people reported seeing them at Best Buy earlier in the week, but only a couple. I want to say that someone even said their Target got a split case of the light/dark (I'm not even sure there is a case of just dark, just light). But, right now, they are very hard to find as they sell out quickly. They've only been released for less than a week, and they were items that everyone was waiting for, so you almost have to be there when the stores put them out. I'm sure they will be everywhere, eventually, though.

Toys R Us, Target, and Best Buy all currently have them but may be cleaned out in your area since its been 5 days since their release.

I was able to get the light pack for christmas.

I got both on christmas eve at Best Buy.

I just went to Walmart and found one of each element pack. They wouldn't scan at the price checker so I didn't get an exact price, but I would assume the typical $30. I couldn't spend the money, right now, or I would have gotten, at least, the dark set. Crazy how I went at closing on Christmas Eve looking for them (as my sister-in-law wanted me to pick up something for her to give my son for Christmas) and they didn't have them, bit they do the day after. Figures.

They also had some wave 3 Trap Masters. I saw Ka-boom and Blastermind. Of course, I was hoping to get them there before Christmad with the $5 gift card deal. Instead I picked up Ka-boom at TRU since it was the only place we could find him. At least they price matched the $14.96 price at Walmart, though I missed out on the $5 gift card.

FYI - Skylanders figures are BOGO 40% off at Target today and tomorrow. It would be amazing if it extended to the light and dark expansion packs and if they had them in stock. Even for Trapmasters, you'd be saving an additional $3.20 on 2 compared to similar TRU sales since no $2 markup for Trapmasters.

^I just picked up Gamer's Club Unlocked from Best Buy for only $30, so yaaay I don't have to hunt for sales anymore, can just get 20% off non-marked up figures when I want.

Do you know if the sale extends to the traps? cause I just bought the wave 3 traps before Xmas and I'd love to price match those.

The sale didn't extend to traps at Target. I thought they did, so we wemy looking around. My son needed a fire trap, so we went to Target and TRU both to find one. We could only find one fire trap at TRU (only because they had just put out a case), but he wasn't excited about it. We found the one he wanted at Best Buy, but I had him hold on to it until we got to the Target at the other end of town later in the day. I had hoped to do the sale with a fire trap and the Outlaw B&C trap. Both stores only had water traps. We decided to go ahead and buy the exclusive trap and another water trap. I was going to exchange it later for one he wanted. But they didn't ring up on sale. They pulled out the ad and saw that it was only for the single pack figures (though I also saw the sign on the minis). So the element packs may not have been included either.

^ they didn't ring up right at my target either, so they sold them to me buy one get one FREE! We ending up getting all wave 3 traps for right at $25.. Good day IMO!

Traps, Adventure packs, Light/Dark, and triple packs were not included in the sale

I grapped that deal myself. 20% off for 2yrs is nice.
