I do not think the wave 3 figures and traps are going to be as rare as everybody thinks.

Neither will the light and dark expansion packs.

The Toys R Us in Waterloo(Iowa) got 16 of each of both the light and dark expansion packs. The Toys R Us in Cedar Rapids got no less than 30 each. At least that was what was left on the display when we got there Sunday evening.

As far as the wave 3 figures are concerned and the traps, Target and Toys R Us in both towns have lots of them with plenty to spare. I ended up waiting till today to pick up my traps while I was running errands.

On a side note, I picked up Eon's Elite Stealth Elf today as well. She's like 10 Wolverine's on steroids now.

They didn't spend millions on this franchise for the toys they design and build to be "rare". Common as dirt before 1/15. Mark this post.

As far as that goes ...look at swap force...the only real rare other than flock springtime trigger happy is variants....at least with giants lightcore pop fizz and bash were a little rare..and maybe granite crusher in some areas .....

Nothing has indicated any of the Wave 3 stuff would be "rare." The boxes these ship in carry enough of every figure. The only real rare things from Trap Team were Kaos Trap and Wallop who only got one in a box. Even then, Wallop is now shipping in Wave 3 trap master boxes with 2 in a box now. Kaos will likely see an increased run soon. See Activision sees the demand and is increasing supply, while Nintendo is ignoring the demand and continuing to make their amiibos hard to stock.

stuff arent gonna be rare before stt hit the age of ssa, but then again the question is, do people have the interest in skylanders anymore after 3 years of stt release. people are starting to serious fall of the interest wagon when it comes to skylanders now days. and the cause of this is lack of content, to much characters released and no online gameplay...

You're jumping the gun making a thread like this. People would get VERY upset if they made these new elements rare! They'll pick out 2 random characters to make rare further down the line, but as with Swap Force, you can get everything you want if you actively look for it either in store or online within the first 2 months of release. I call it the 60 day rule...after that, you may be out of luck. The guy at my TRU told me they got 60 of just the light expansion packs...and that was only the first of many shipments! Why would you even think of calling these newly released figures rare? I just saw wave 3 for the first time this past Saturday. Ridiculous! This isn't Nintendo Amiibo.

The expansion packs won't be rare at all during the life of this game. No expansion pack has been rare past the initial release - aside from the Darklight Crypt, but even that used to be overflowing on pegs back in the day.

They wont be as rare for now, the TRU here got about 30 of each of light/dark and tons of the trap masters and cores

Rarity stole them all.
