When I first saw him, I wanted him so badly, but when I played as him, i realized he was just the bad projectile spammer of STT, like in SSA, in SG, and in SSF.

Well, I was kinda disappointed that Lob-Star isn't as strong as I thought he'd be. His steam beatdown is his only strongest yet slowest attack. The only Lob-Star I am not disappointed in is his Winterfest version.

He is the only character I used to beat kaos

I find him pretty strong! When he boils, it takes really long, but he makes up for that with the damage he deals.

i think he's mediocre also.

I'm not a fan of his play style, too slow to charge up and ends up dying due to that. I do like his appearance though

Well I am dissapointed, but just a liiiittttllee bit
His boiling move takes too long, that's true
And I don't really use his third attack
But afterall he looks good and his stars are good

He is technically a watered (get it?) down version of Fryno, but I find him pretty cool to play with.

I find him strong reasons you need know how use him well the boiling attack takes time to charge but deals massive damage remember slow attack sometimes deal a lot

Finally opened our game/figures yesterday, Winterfest was my inaugural pick fir the portal. We found the boiling animation hilarious, so even if his skill tree ends up not panning out, he's still a keeper.

Some of ya'll think Lob-Star is weak? He's like the strongest friggin character in the series right now?!?!? You don't just run-up in a group, steam, and think "oh he sucks", just steam before you fight, or while they are on the approach towards you. At that point, you own EVERYTHING, he does like 300 damage per second, with every other hit or so 'criting' when steamed. He can even run away using his dash move to keep distance if need be, or use the dash to move through the stage as fast as Stealth Elf.

If you think he's weak, who do you view as strong?

I personally to use him to dash around enemies and attack them from the back

I got WF Lob Star for Christmas and i just find him great!

I actually really like Lob-Star. I don't know about the OP, but I personally like the rapid attacking "spammy" characters, which is one of the reasons why I love Trigger Happy too. Like other people said, you need to know how to use his boiling ability. He's an absolute beast when steamed.

Eh, I wouldn't say Lob-Star's one of my favorites, but he's certainly not terrible. In fact I think he is pretty fun to play as, even if he is just a projectile-spamming Fryno. ...Actually, maybe that's why I find him so fun to play as.

While I do find him kind of underwhelming, I still find to be done right. He is still an overall great character and am proud so far that none of the trap masters are necessarily bad, just not as good as others.
