The light of the cave shone. Flame and Ember flew into the cave, shouting and screaming coming from behind them. They leaned against the wall.
'What do we do?' Gasped Ember.
'I dunno, we're trapped!' Flame said. suddenly Apes came pouring into the cave holding swords. Ember screamed. Flame flew towards the fighting but was cut into peices by the blades and crossbows.
Ember ran down the cave from the murderers. The red dragon that had been her brother for years was now dead. She could'nt belive it. The legend of the purple dragon had to be true. She was sure the purple dragon was alive, they couldnt have smashed all the eggs, could they? Suddenly more apes poured into the room. Ember screamed as the Apes climbed over her swishing their swords. Then silence came from Ember. The swords were drenched in blood, and the Apes felt very pleased with what they did. They left the cave to kill more dragons.
