since there is no kaos traps available there is not one dark edition to be found. Im glad I got mine when I did.

Bestbuy.com had them in stock for PS4 earlier in the week and XBox One just earlier today when I checked, but it looks like they finally ran out...it was last of the more well known websites to be selling them at retail without a markup.

It does look like the dark editions are practically gone. But, at least, Kaos traps are going to be available everywhere soon enough.

There was a dark edition at my Walmart, but someone had stolen the Kaos Trap out of it.

Kaos traps will be in most places after xmas, dont worry about it.

In terms of eBay, yes I guess sometime mid-late next year you might be able to get boxed editions for sticker price.

I really was hoping for a deal on the dark edition. It's all my son talks about. We ask him which Skylanders he wants and he just keeps saying Dark Wildfire and Legendary Bushwhack. He knows the Dark figures only come in the dark edition, but he doesn't understand that it costs a lot more and has become hard to find. I picked up the regular version before Black Friday when they were running pre-Black Friday deals on it. Maybe I should have done as someone else and argued about the dark edition at TRU since it had the $39.99 price and the sign said "All Skylander Trap Team Starter Packs". I thought about arguing it, but I didn't want someone to get in trouble, plus I had my kids with me, so I was trying to be quick and sneaky while my wife occupied them.
