Before I start, I will say I searched all old topics and didn't really find what I was looking for, so I'm starting a new topic.

I noticed while searching ebay, that there have been a few Skylanders plush toys released. I have never seen these before, but I only started collecting Skylanders figures this June.

My question, can I still find these in stores anywhere? I am interested in Spyro and Trigger Happy as they are my two favorites. I went to TRU and looked in the plush animal section but didn't see them. I asked an employee and he looked at me like I had two heads and told me that Skylanders are made of plastic and are action figures, which made me laugh a bit. I'm not really familiar with any aisles other than the Skylanders aisle at TRU because that's not a place I normally shop. Is there another section I should be looking in?

I looked on eBay for them but I still can't tell the sizes of them. I like the ones with the portal remote that makes them talk. If anyone has these, can you take a picture of them with something as a size comparison next to them (like a pop can, a baseball, a football etc)?

These are the plushies I already have. I won the bigger Spyro in 2001 along with Crash Bandicoot at a local arcade. The little Spyro was rescued a few years ago from a thrift shop. His tag is dated 2005.

There were plush Skylanders released under the Giants label, but mostly gone. TRU clearanced theirs out this past summer. Crazily enough, though, many of them were still around after the clearance was over. I scanned them and they rang up for like 2 cents. I ended up buying them all up to give as Christmas gifts or to donate somewhere. Most of them were the small plush that you can clip on to a backpack or something. I think there might have been a few of the bigger ones (like 5" or 6"), but I can't remember. I'll have to look in the box to see what I have. I'm not sure that I have a Spyro or Trigger Happy in there. I picked those up earlier in the clearance for my kids, and they have been the last ones. Though the only other one they made was Eruptor, I believe. If I think about it, I'll check my stash and see.

There was also a big, talking Tree Rex plush.

^ plus the Giants plush pencil toppers (4)! We have found all of them at dollar tree stores for cheap ($1 of course, lol)!!

Kinda disappointed they discontinued the squshies and the plushes. I'd love something of Snap Shot.

^ I liked the Eruptor squishable. I wanted the Legendary Trigger Happy, but I clould never find it here.

The UK still have a lot of (reduced) Skylander plushies in stores. Spyro, Gill Grunt, Trigger Happy and Eruptor. We also have those plushies available as prizes in some amusement arcades in varying sizes.

There was also a Chop Chop plush.

This totally surprised me while picking up gift wrap at the Dollar Tree today. My first Skylanders plush! A Tree Rex pencil topper. I wasn't even looking for one! He was the last in the whole store.

How there was never a stuffed Hot Dog is beyond me...

Yeah seems like they didn't sell well at all. Doesn't surprise me because they're kind of cheap-y looking, but had a pretty hefty price tag on them; almost as much as the Pokemon TOMY plush which are incredibly way made. As of now, all TRU seem to be mostly closed out of them, although some stores may have chucked them into a metal hamper display and stuck them down one of the other toy aisles or on a "reduced price" aisle.

The toys are made by a company called Just Play. I know there's Spyro, Eruptor, Gill Grunt, and Trigger Happy in the clips series, ones of a smaller (i'd say maybe 6 inches?) size, and then larger ones of just Spyro and Eruptor with a portal. Those big guys light up and talk, and the smaller ones do as well, kind of like smack and Yakkers or whatever those things were called.

As far as I know, I don't believe any other ones were made and they were all under the Giants banner. There was also a giant talking Tree Rex posted above.
I dunno if there's a store near you like this, but we have one called Marcs which is a grocery store, but they also get closeout products from other stores like TRU and Target. (with the Target exclusive labels still on them lol). I've seen the plush and strechy guys show up there occasionally, but they're often near the original retail price which is too much for them considering the pennies TRU had them at closeout over the summer haha

EDIT: Well now you had me second guessing myself! I had to go check out my stash to be sure.

As a matter of fact, I forgot about one other plush, and the sizes were a bit off. Eruptor clocks in at just about 8 inches; Spyro does too from his head to the curve of the tail.
My older Spyro is just about 10 inches, while the big guy in the back is a full foot long! That Spyro is from a Pillow Friend series that Walmart had during the Giants run. Around the holidays I saw him for $5.99 I believe- it comes with the derpy plush and that nice printed blanket there too. There's one with Chop Chop I remember seeing at TRU but I've never seen it again there...that one was like $19.99....
I DO see a Skylanders logo on the pillow friends things they have at Walmart now, but I'm not sure if they actually have one or not. There's like Lego Movie, Frozen and MLP listed on it too, but I've only seen MLP ones or generic animals in the large aisle things.

Those Just Play one have been gone for some time, unfortunately they never made any other characters. I saw a photo of a giant Crusher but I don't think he actually came out.

A company called PMS International has some prize plush (ex. carnival prizes) with the same selection, they look very similar. I think these have only been spotted in the UK?

Toys R Us has the "plush and throw" Spyro (v2 with the tail club) and Chop Chop in the bedding area, kind of pricy. The blanket is kid size so it's not too big, but I use mine on my computer chair without worry of rolling over it.

Target has a Gill Grunt (made with minky fabric) in the kids' bedding section. IDK if they still carry it.

There is a "pillow pal" style Spyro, but I don't know if it's the same kind Walmart has.

I haven't seen this one in US stores at all.

The only Spyro plush I have is one of Classic Spyro I won from a crane machine. Still have it today and hold it dear to me heart.

Here is the only SPYRO plush we currently have.. He came with the throw blanket!

I went ahead and ordered the 7" talking Trigger Happy and the 4" clip on Trigger Happy from ebay. Should be here by the 13th!

I'm going to all of the Dollar Trees to hunt for more pencil toppers this weekend.

It looked great.Bought for my 3 yr old boy. He loves it! He also loves wooden toys.
