OK, now that I have your attention...

I was playing Trap Team's free first chapter on my new iPad Air 2 (game looks great by the way), and I noticed you could not shut up the dialogue.

Is dialogue not skippable until a certain point? Or only first chapter? What's the mystery here? Please don't tell me we have another Rufus situation on our hands...

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

I have the 360 version and most of the dialogue is skippable if you played through it before.

i've only played the PS3 Version, and i am pretty sure all the dialogue was skippable. i think most cutscenes were skippable too.

it was only the villain's entries that couldn't be skipped.

it is possibly a tablet thing, or maybe a free version thing

I play the PS3 version and suffer through the same thing in level 1. While I do admit it can be annoying, but one level is way better than practically the whole game is unskippable cutscenes galore.

You will need to buy the starter pack and use the controller to skip dialogue sound stupid right I know but this the first chapter so some is still unskipable

I thought this would be about some of the non-constructive "hurr TT is Trash" going around... Aww...

Most of the later chapters are better, first one really sticks out since you're forced to listen to most of Buzz's exposition. It's less frequent and skips faster than SF, so it's an improvement, though it still isn't as good as Giants in this regard.

I always skip the "are you ready for another magical upgrade" speech. Wow that really gets old.

You can't skip dialogue/cutscene if you don't use the controller on tablet. Otherwise, it's pretty much only the first chapter that has unskippable stuff.

Still better than having to hear "Hello, Skylander friend! Are you ready to achieve physical perfection to rival my own?" at least one time every day you play. smilie

I think that one was better because after you heard him, as long as you didn't play a level, you could keep on upgrading without hearing him again. Also, you would stay in the upgrade screen until you chose to exit, and the forced upgrade cutscene was noticeably shorter. It made it a lot better to buy multiple upgrades.

Exactly this. I usually end up doing all my upgrades in one go, so upgrading in TT was painful. Also I don't find Steve Blum's brother anywhere near as annoying as creepy tadpole fairy, so that makes it a lot easier.

I can see why you could prefer that upgrading method, however, I personally like to try out an upgrade, before purchasing another one, so, it honestly doesn't bother me at all.

They could give you the option, however.

I just got used to it, after SA and Giants, I guess. smilie
