While it's a bit pricey, I agree that Skylanders a very great game. Toys for Bob isn't afraid to try new ideas, and they always go the extra mile when it comes to character design (VV isn't as great with design). Another aspect I like is the figure hunting; in fact, that's half the fun for me! I love the satisfaction when I finally see a figure in stores for the first time, especially after looking for weeks on end. Point is, I don't know where I'd be without Skylanders. However, I will admit that they made Spyro look horribly cringeworthy in the series, but I'm glad it isn't a CORE spyro game and he just makes a cameo so I don't have to see his face .

Also, I enjoyed the Legend series, so it's all a matter of perspective.

Never played A Hero's Tail or Shadow Legacy, though, but I did enjoy Season of Ice and Season of Flame, and Enter The Dragonfly is technically a guilty pleasure of mine.

ETD would have been so much better had it not been rushed, which is a shame honestly.

Spyro is forever a Skylander. Activision see's no profit in him having a solo game.

Once again you're acting like that's a fact. Who says that Activison will keep him?
He could always end up in the hands of someone else who might actually want to do something with him.

No, I don't, but that doesn't mean that it will "never" happen.

I have way more faith in Sony purchasing the rights off of Crash Bandicoot from Activision. Spyro, not too much.

and to think, Spyro's not the only great thing ruined by activision.
