Omg yes (Ghost Roaster sighting) [CLOSED]

Recently Gamestop has been selling used skylanders, I scored a Ghost Roaster and a S1 Gill Grunt with his eye rubbed off till it was an orange circle. Anyone else score anything rare this way?

I saw a few DLC sets with GR at Walmart.. Can't believe they are still making these.. So much for being rare when things get put back in production way after release.. Much like camo and warnado!

Was that recently? I've only seen DLC in a store once since we got into Skylanders. That was last October. I ended up finding two at a Walmart. At the time, they were going for over $100. I haven't seen them since.

It might have been NOS, but one of the walmarts in my Houston tx area put 4 on the floor last month..

If you live in Europe you can get a Ghost Roaster for around €7 on www.mariowii.nl

A Dutch website but it ships to all of Europe.

Meanwhile I just stare at GRs and Boomers I can't afford on the south america ebay equivalent. They're not exactly cheap but they're the same price as every other used figure. But it's pretty weird because there are people selling dozens of all the APs years after they're out of production, not even the few bookstores that still sell Skylanders have them at this point.

Boomer never really interested me, but I got used GR last year that I gave to a friend while they're playing through the older games. But the price I got is FAR from what shows up in the site now and used with just the card, it was at least a third of what people have been selling them and just about any uncommon figure these days.

GameStop is a video game specialty store in the US that sells new items as well as used ones. They don't exactly have the best prices on new stuff, so I assume the primary reason they survive is from sales of used game/figures and their regular hardcore gamer clientele. Canada has a similar equivalent store called EB Games. I think the UK also has one called Game.

We have a shop called BT games where you can trade in your PS3 and 3DS games for a discount on anything you buy .

We have shop called Game but its a hypermarket. They do have a games section .
