Celebrates thanksgiving?

All my family lives in Germany, and they don't want to fly over to America, and my family hates turkey. So no, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving.

Never had a Thanksgiving :\ Sounds fun though.

I do, but we serve ostrich instead of turkey. Oh, and we only eat the heart and the breast meat; the rest sits beside the highway, wasted and decaying in the hot afternoon sun. Not even carrion will eat what's left, it's so lacking in nutrients and worth. Silly "birds".

But seriously, surely we all have something to be thankful for? That's all it's about, right, being thankful, even if it's just for another day? Just another smile? Just another mercy, say, from a cult leader who wants you mangled because you won't join his fancy religion, with their flightless feathered animals, and their soy milk for your captain crunch? Soy milk... shiver...

I did, but since my dad's family is in the state above mine and my mom's family (save for my aunt who is an hour away) is multiple states from mine (and a couple of them I would not want to see anyway), I was only with my parents and brother.

My family came here to celebrate. I got to see my doggy, too
Thanksgiving isn't as special as it used to be, though. Neither is Christmas. Meh.
