Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is the title.

Includes more NPC's, quests, boosts online player count in a session to 6 (why? that breaks the game...), better item descriptions, better game balance, and updates to the graphics.

PS4 and Xboners can purchase a retail copy.

For exisiting PS360PC owners, there will be a free update. Obviously matchmaking, player count, and graphics will not be updated.

ANYWAYS: This title is coming out April 7th, 2015. Only 13 days after Bloodborne. That's pretty stupid IMO. Don't know why that decision was made.

So basically it's going to be

new unique title with amazing atmosphere vs remastered dark souls II, the game that was the sequel to an amazing game but lost all the charm and developed by the B team who had no idea what they were doing

or

Half Life 3 vs remaster of Half Life 2 episode 1

I don't quite get it though. Sony owns the entire rights to Demon's Souls. They could do whatever they want with it, couldn't they? All I can see is that Namco Bandai trying to sue Sony for something dumb like having too similar of a name with similar gameplay or something stupid, even though Demon's came first.

There really shouldn't be any legal issues at all.

Dark Souls is such an incredible experience. I know the sequel has numerous problems, but I'll be picking up the Complete Edition in April regardless; if it's half as good, it'll still be fun.

Demon's Souls is a Sony owned IP. It was co-developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio and FromSoftWare. Sony also published the title (besides in the west).

Same exact situation for Bloodborne, the spiritual sequel to Demon's Souls.

I can't wait for Bloodborne!

@zer0dch: i know, and i'm gonna get a sony machine at some point, it just isnt feasible at the mo. Bloodborne looks really cool, but i'm wary of the faster combat mechanics... I always had that heater shield up, in DS.
