I'm going to New York in about a week, and I thought I'd pick up something small after buying Smash Bros Wii U and a Villager amiibo there. How good is Tread Head? Which one should I get, or a Yoshi amiibo, and why?

Yoshi Amiibo. Out of all of the Amiibos, he has the most value, as he is confirmed to be compatible with more games than any other Amiibo, which probably automatically means he has more use than a Skylander.

I also heard nintendo predicts wave 1 of amiibo to sell fast, so Tread Head may stick around longer than Yoshi. Now I'm leaning towards Yoshi...

^Companies always predict their products to sell fast when marketing them.

That being said I do agree that, of the two, Yoshi may be a better investment, especially if you buy a fair share of Wii U games.

I've heard he works in Smash, Mario Kart 8, Yoshi's Wooly World, and Mario Party 10. I'll be buying 3 out of those four games (actually I already have mario kart), so he sounds like a nice investment. Tread Head seems like he will be on the shelves long after Wave 2 of Trap Team, so looks like I'm going with Yoshi!
