Re-Entry Problem with Coin/Bounce Pad Mazes

I was wondering if anyone knows the best way to reenter the bounce pad mazes. Okay, here's what happened. I finished all 17 levels, but didn't do level 18 and capture Kaos yet. I was saving the last chapter much later after I've gotten Knight Light and Knight Mare. Anyways, I can't seem to reenter the bounce pad mazes and get the remaining trinkets. I quit the game lots of times, restarted previous levels and finished them, but nothing's working. What should I do?

On Xbox 360, I go back to Main Menu, load the save slot again and I am able to enter the area again.

I own a Wii U, and I have tried doing what you do, but it doesn't work at all. I don't get it.

I have finished Story Mode, maybe that's why.
