Why don't we arrange a time soon and play a Tourtnament like, without using the Friend codes? so we can go against a lot of people and get the Elite Skystones.

Just an FYI for everyone, once you get all Skystones available within the game (most of the really good ones are for beating captured villains in a game of Skystones), the game really turns into a constant stalemate like tic-tac-toe, with the only exception being whoever goes first will usually always win since they have the advantage of capturing the first square by default thus ending up with 5-4.

The purpose of getting friend codes to play online is more to unlock the special Skystones you can only get by winning online, not necessarily to play competitively. I've only played two games online against the same random opponent, we both used the same skystones, and since we each got to go first on separate turns, we each got a win. The Skystone I unlocked for winning one game online was Master Eon.

Basically I'm expecting to play people to just trade wins to help each other unlock the online Skystones.

I'm in Aus, so setting up a time might be annoying. But Skystones is easily my favourite part of TT 3DS.
I also play Smash a lot, and I'd like to consider myself pretty good at Mario Kart 7 (though I rarely play now), and I'm getting back into Animal Crossing. I'll start playing Alpha Sapphire online once I beat it (though I'm not much of a competitive player now).

Yeah the online community for it is pretty much dead. Really pissed about that part. Also rage quitting. I have ran into about 3 or 4 people that have done that now. I don't get a win if the person rage quits.

Well I thought I would post an update as this topic seems to be overlooked a lot. I have a whole set of the Elite Skystones now without help from anyone.

I have about three or four of the "online only" skystones. I'm not interested in playing online to win, as most people playing online already have the best stones so it's always a win for whoever goes first (unless you make a mistake).

I'd be willing to play online just to quickly trade wins, not to complete. If you're interested in just trading wins, send me a PM so we can work out a time to play, preferably nights or weekends.

dose anyone know how many exact skystones there are for the 3ds game? cuz i have 60 and i battled everyone 3 times(and 60 sounds like a good even number they would end it on). and apparently there are 16 elite skystones that you can only win online(it say it in the game hints when it loads levels). but 60 regular and 16 for online sounds about right(and im 100% about the 16 elites online). so if anyone who has beaten the game 100% verify this for me.
