As if right now, where can I buy cheap skylanders from previous games?

Tons of places.. Garage sales, resale stores, most retail stores... I sold a lot on ebay with EVERY figure all 3 previous games for under $300.. So for most of the commons ebay is a good place to start.. Look for lots..

You can find some at Five Below for really good deals and actually have a great spread of guys to choose from.

Don't forget Game Stop. They buy used ones, so you should be able to find some there. Not sure if they triple the cost of what you get when you sell it to them?

For new figures from the old games, Five Below is a good place to start for $5 core Skylanders...plenty of selection from Spyros Adventure and Giants. I think TRU has Spyros Adventure figures marked down as well. Some of the Swap Force swappers are on Walmart.com for $5 right now...I'd jump on those quick as that sale isn't bound to last and the fact that it's tougher to get new Giant and Swapper figures for that cheap. Obviously, you can hunt EBay and GameStop for used figures, but $5 is pretty damn sweet for brand new figures. TRU might have some figures for $3 around Christmas time from the older games...I may be mistaken, but I thought they had some from Spyros Adventure for $3 last year. Good luck...it's a good time to be buying figures on the cheap!

Smyths in the UK currently has 3 for 2 on Skylander Giants stuff, and the triple packs are only £4.99, so 9 figures for £10

I used to buy 4 of every Skylander. However, times are rough, so I having to switch to 2 of every Skylander for now on.

I mentioned on Facebook, that I am currently selling one nearly complete collection, minus 16 swappers, the Volcanic Vault, and the traps, but I am giving away 6 of 8 traps, meaning those who buy my collection are only missing a tech and life trap. I mentioned that I am selling it for 1165. That's 5 dollars per figure (even giants, trap masters, and location items), and 2.50 per magic item. I also mentioned giving away a free gift for those who buy, namely an extra Doom Stone I have sitting around, and the other I said was a surprise, but it's really a sealed Purple Metallic Wrecking Ball from giants.

That's what I'm doing. I'm hoping someone who's late to the game on Facebook, gets in on this incredible deal I'm extending. Whoever buys my collection, will have to buy the whole thing to get everything for 2.50-5 bucks a piece, as well as Purple Wrecking Ball and Doom Stone, though.

You can get them from me, too, since my son is no longer into the whole Skylanders thing. We have every base figure from the 1st three games, plus the legendaries from the 1st two games. Also have many (maybe all?) of the Giants variants. Kind of sad to hear that he wasn't interested, because the figures do look cool when they're all together. But man, it just got too expensive, so my wallet is thankful.

Ya my kids 8 i feel i prob have another 3 yrs max before he moves onto other things. it paretly why with trap team we have held off buying him much as i dont know what to do with his set once he's done.

My older kids feel out of favour with SL some time ago (#2 at around age 6). I have the advantage that I also have 2 younger kids just getting in to this sort of thing.

Well Hastings (Prices vary by Swappers, Cores, and Giants.) and Game Exchange (from what I have seen all are priced $4.95 but I didn't get a glimpse at the Giants. They are probably a bit higher.) are good places to go if your in the southern region of United States of America (Texas, Arkansass and Lousiana have them. Haven't fully been to the other surrounding states....) They also have used Disney Infinity characters if your looking for them too. (Hastings has more of the Infinity characters though. But Game Exchange did have loose Sully, Mr. Incredible and Jack Sparrow.)
