Any way to fix a broken trap?

Well I just got a soaking staff water trap today but when I put in in the portal it just gives me the broken toy error. I have tried but can't seem to get the game to pull up the fix option, does the fix option not work with traps?

What happened between it working and it breaking?

I doubt the fix toy fixes traps. Given we can't reset traps, stands to reason there's no fix option either. Time to get a replacement from Acti.

I have a few physically come apart, exposing chip, but never had any in game issues! Take it back to store or contact activision.. If you lost reciept, just buy another and swap them out.. Good luck ;-)

It came as one of the 8 pack with steamed BG. It was both unglued (in 2 pieces) and did not work on the portal. I tried the fix broken toy on it (using giants 3ds) as that was the only game that would even let me try it, did not work. Guess I will be sending it back to Activision... They all ready sent me a shipping slip. Tho I hate to have to wait so long... said it would take about 2 weeks after they receive mine before I get it...

The 3DS version doesn't even read the traps. You would have better luck trying to get it replaced for the same one right now.

That's funny that you said it came it the 8 pack! We bought the 8 pack last night and the fire scepter came apart at the logo, and since we already had one, I just stuck it in the end of Ka-Booms cannon. It looks like he is shooting flames now, lol!

That's a complete non-issue in his case. He said the broken trap was the Soaking Staff water trap included with the 8-pack. Steamed Broccoli Guy is in the Oak Eagle life trap.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

Oh I wasn't paying attention. Is there ANY way to get the same trap type without a variant today? I was looking at the Riot Shredder and OBC traps and they appear like it is affirmative. I could be wrong.

Yes the Traps that have the three variant villains in them are available as regular traps. Life Torch, Water Logholder and Life Toucan.

and all the traps in the 8 pack, except the tech tiki, are currently available as singles.

It appears that way GR.. I just realized my broken fire scepter does not work on portal either.. That's cool, I have way more traps than we could ever possibly use..
