There's a PAX convention (PAX south) coming to my city in late January of next year. I've barely followed any of the PAX Prime or PAX East conventions before; has Skylanders made regular appearances there? They don't usually announce anything there, do they? I don't have high hopes, but if they have announced or shown upcoming figures there, maybe they'll show a hint of wave 4? (secretly hoping for a hint of what they announce at toy fair)

I've been to two PAX Easts since Skylanders became a thing. (2012 and 2014). The first year, all the sellers in the Expo hall had way over-priced figures, because they were so scarce at the time. This year, I didn't see any Skylanders at all. Honestly, PAX East didn't have as many of the big names this last year, especially since Nintendo and Pokemon were missing from previous years.

The board game section there is still awesome though.

I wonder... I really hope they show wave 4... I NEED TO KNOW THE IF THE LIGHT AND DAR TRAPPERS AND CORES ARE COMING!

As much as I want to hear about them, the Light and Dark elements probably won't be announced until Toy Fair.
