SSA: The original. Great first game.
SSF: VV's first attempt at the main games and... it kinda shows. Weakest in the franchise for me.
STT: Best line of heroes and villains! Until Sky5 comes out, that is.

SSA - The beginning of Skylanders and a whole new life of Spyro
SG - All Skylanders can now speak perfectly in English and larger Skylanders
SSF - Jumping has been added and better graphics and 256 combos of the swappable Skylanders
STT - Jumping includes attacking, two new elements, new Skylanders with crystal weapons, colorful crystal Traps and even more Villains to fight and can now play as

SSA: The most fun Skylanders game and the 2nd best.
SG: Okay but kind of boring so it is the 3rd best.
SSF: The greatest Skylanders game to date with awesome gameplay, designs and content.
STT: Most disappointing Skylanders game to date as a lot of old Skylanders suck, levels weren't all that great, no PvP and low on content.

5.7.

Spyro's Adventure: great story, great gameplay (really basic, but also really fun), great characters and an overall awesome start for the series. REALLY immersive.

Giants: another great but different story, same gameplay (if a thing works, you don't have to change it), same style, Giants are a really good addiction to the roster just like the new Cores. Again, this game is really immersive too.

SWAP Force: good story (similar to the SA one, in some way), quite different gameplay (not talking about the platforming mechanic, as it is in Trap Team too, but the overall feel of the game, as you play it it's quite different, not in a bad way, mind it), really different style (don't like it that much), jump addiction (which is great), swap mechanic (really interesting, could have been implemented better in-game), another batch of really unique and original Cores, more "strategic and complex", in gameplay, this time. The Swappers aren't that unique, as far as their design allora them to be, but they still manage to be great Skylanders. Longer levels were a good addiction, but lacked variety. It also took Skylanders to a whole new level, graphic wise. Not as immersive as its predecessors, this time.

Trap Team: really great story (nearly as good as the SA one), the gameplay is once again the same as the first two games, but with some nice addictions (they managed to pick only the better aspects from those games), they improved the jumping mechanic, by adding jump attacks and the possibility to attack while in the air, the style from the first two games is also back, the trapping mechanic is GREAT (wasn't expecting it to be that fun, and the timer doesn't bother me at all), the Trap Masters are really strong and cool Skylanders (they could have definitely been implemented better, in game, but they are still great characters, Giants 2.0, if you will), the variety of characters and levels is outstanding, easily best hub so far, and incredible animations. The graphics have also been improved. More immersive than SWAP Force, yet still not at the SA or Giants levels.

SSA: Felt like a PS1 game, and in a good way.
Made me feel all nostalgic about Spyro, and was fun, was as much platforming as you could get without jumping and I liked the upgrades and elemental areas the best, it just felt... well... the best. Levels seemed really expansive too. 4.6/5

SG: Like SSA, It was similar, and sometimes it seems like I liked it better. Giants were a decent addition, and the levels were good like SSA and was the whole game seemed great, especially with Heroics back. 4.5/5

SSF: So many great, and bad things. Seemed like a refresher for the series, yet, it seemed different. Sometimes TOO different. Even though the levels felt lifeless and the locations felt generic, jumping was a HUGE plus one, but the characters weren't Skylanders... they seemed... too... different. Gave zero nostalgia, and also felt, awesome. The graphics blew me away, and I LOVE the swappers. But, it feels, different. Unskippable dialogue and cutscenes, and less humorous, it felt both mature, and kiddy-fied. Rufus. Nuff said. 3.7/5

STT: Great. References, Trap Masters, getting landers of the elements again, getting TRAPS. Playing as KAOS. Theres lots of things awesome about this, and it could be better than SSA, IF, I say IF, if it didn't lose the few good things from SSF. It felt like a sequel to SG, not SSF. 4.5/5

SSA : Original concept, great gameplay & story, great original characters, a whole new life for Spyro

SG : larger Skylanders, great gameplay & story, great original characters, a awesome continuing of SSA

SSF: It got jumping, great gameplay & story, great original characters, it's the most creative & got swappable figurines, great fresh innovative new gameplay, greatest Skylanders game to date

STT : Most disappointing Skylanders game so far, Full of bugs, unfinished & need a patch, Activision got greedy and exploitative with more stuff to buy, Had totally unnecessary gimmicks like minis/traps/light/dark, Element gates locked to main characters, Weakest in the franchise and story and game is not up to scratch.

SSA: Was a great game to start, also getting new figures was the most exciting in this one
SG: Could be better if they made the S1 Skylanders have their heroics back to play with new guys... i loved the Giants tho.
SSF: Liked it, was something new and fresh... but i felt that i grew over Skylanders and getting new figures was not exciting.
STT: Never played it, watched playthroughs of it and the main story looks good, but content? nope.

SSA- Took me a while to actually pick up the game because it was expensive and a foreign concept. Gave it a try because Spyro was my childhood. The story was good, not too immersing though. Cute and colorful, I didn't care for a lot of the figures, mostly just wanted the dragons but found myself getting all of them at the end. Enough side stuff to do with heroics, heroics provided a huge incentive to collect all the figures.

SG- Exciting when announced being the first sequel. Not many new characters were introduced. I loved the lightcores, they were fascinating and different from normal cores, didn't care for the giants, rarely used them and most of their designs weren't very appealing to me, no incentive to collect all giants other than unlocking heroics. The story wasn't all that memorable... pretty flat compared to SSA. Additional heroics, missing 8 old heroics that only SSA characters could get. A lot of reposes, not enough new characters, would've preferred 1 giant, 2 new cores, 1 lightcore, and 2 reposes per element. I also enjoyed the additional character quests, was more to do in game.

SSF- Long storyline but repetitive level designs. Huge graphical updates, I was in awe when I first played it at how nice the game looked. Most new characters were not impressive in terms of design, but the few that were appealing were instant favorites. Jumping added a whole new life to the game (as simple as jumping is). It made the characters much more life-like. I didn't like that quests were reset on characters that had them completed, forced you to spend time redoing all your hard work. There was a lot of side stuff to do, I enjoyed score mode a lot. Gave some online highscore stuff for people to compare scores with friends. There were also a lot of new characters to collect (again the designs weren't impressive), but no incentive to collect them other than portal master rank.

STT- Very new and refreshing. Love the ability to play as villains. A powerful story, I've never felt so compelled to keep going in any other skylander game. Trap masters dont play a huge role and aren't as ridiculously over-powered as I thought they would be, I also dont mind the change in elemental gates, gives some incentive to come back to the game once the rest of the elements are released. Quests were removed, though it doesn't bother me as much now as it used to, I didn't complete a lot of quests on my collection of figures. The designs of the new characters are amazing, there are very few that I dont care for (Gusto... talking about you). Some minor bugs but never experienced anything game breaking from PS3 and Wii U versions. 2-player mode is the most buggy thing, going on jump pads in certain areas can become an irritating loop, and I find that we constantly block each others paths (trap masters/giants take up a lot of room). Love the Kaos Doom Challenge, tower defense games have always been fun for me. Not much side stuff, couldve been done better. I also dislike that the level cap did not increase to 25. The addition of new elements is really cool, and I love the designs of them, I'm one of the few people that dont care about the whole mystery thing.

SSA: Whole new concept, great levels and story, personally my favorite of the games. 5/5

SG: Meh, It was fun, but the levels were rather blah, although i really like the giants. 4/5

SSF: A little repetitive, but fun game modes and zones, creative with the swapping. 4.3/5

STT: Lots of bugs, although Activisions help page was hilarious, Trapmaster only zones(booo), no use for cores, Awesome trapping concept, brought back lots of the old characters, and, *shudder* Meditations on Boom. 3.7/5
