The videos title explains it all.

.... I'm definitely done with this game till the Light/Dark TM's drop. That was the last thing worth doing in TT atm for me. I'm gonna go play something in the vein of Ikaruga or Mars Matrix now, I think I should be just fine... heh >.>

Even though I respect how Bumble Blast defeat Kaos in Nightmare mode, I intend to play as Gearshift (with Fragment Mode Freak), Snap Shot (Crack Shot Croc), Wolfgang (in his evolved form), and other Skylanders and Villains that specialize in projectile attacks. Also, thanks for showing us the video, AzarianGO.

Great accomplishment, but a real player would beat him with a non-ranged skylander like Stealth Elf. Come back when you do that.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

Lol I know you're joking, but in all honesty, that would take more patience than even Gandhi possessed. BB is the "speed run" character when it comes to Kaos, and regular ranged chars would take 2x the time. A melee char (due to the lack of opportunities to actually land hits) would literally take an hour to down Kaos on Nightmare, and even after doing this, I'm not willing to take another 50+hours to do a melee version. It took 12+ hours of practice to actually pull this off, due to the fact your run could literally be ended in a second, because of the immense damage Kaos does. I must of got him to 5% hp or less at least 20 times before I finally finished him.

For anyone interested in doing this yourself (or even for a nuzlocke when I edit the rules), heres and exclusive rundown of Kaos from me, someone who put 12+ hours of work into achieving a single skylander run.

Single Skylander Traptanium Kaos run
----------------------------------------------------
Viable Skylanders: Bumble Blast (bee keeper) (15mins), Deja Vu (bottom path) (30 mins), Zoo Loo (30 mins), Hoot Loop (30 mins), Pop Thorn (20-30 mins), and Drobit/bot (25-30 mins)

For referance, any time Kaos heals is a new phase, and change in attack patterns, is a sub phase. All damage dealt is from Bumble Blast runs, other skylanders seem to take diffrent damage.

Phase 1 Sub Phase 1 (100%hp-75%hp)
Opening the fight, Kaos will spam 3 energy column blasts in rapid succession (energy columns do 295 per hit) . These, being the minimal amout of circles, should be a good place for you to get a feel for dodging these. After the initial 3, he will do 1 at a time, every 10-15 seconds. Inbetween these, you can manipulate where he casts the energy columns by getting close to him and then running as far away as you can.

Phase 1 Sub Phase 2 (75% hp- 60% hp)
Kaos will begin to cast elemental bullets. Your element heals you by 10 per bullet, the element you are strong to does 175 damage. Any other bullets (excluding Kaos bullets) do 777, likely 70% of your health. Kaos bullets are the antithesis of pain, resulting in 9999 damage (an OHKO) to anyone but Kaos himself, ending the run immediately. When Kaos begins casting energy columns and bullets, stay in the lane of your bullet type, if there is none, focus on any gaps.

Phase 1 Sub Phase 3 (60%hp - 50% hp)
This is where the doom sharks begin. Stay close to a shark (or multiple sharks) will grant you +8 hp (for all sharks in your immediate vicinity) as they closely pass you. These sharks do 555 damage, but allow for massive amounts of healing. There are 7 different patterns, the only way to guarantee your survival is to get familiar with all of them. Kaos will mix all attacks from previous sub phases into this one.

Phase 2 Sub Phase 1 (75% hp- 50%hp)
Kaos will open with a forward slashing sword attack, resulting in 375 damage if hit, and soon afterwards spawn lvl 2 energy columns . This will continue until subphase 2.

Phase 2 Sub Phase 2 (50% hp - 25% hp)
Kaos will mix all previous attacks together, but his hp will drop 2x as fast as any other phase. This is the shortest subphase by far.

Phase 3 Sub Phase 1 ( 50% hp - 30% hp)
Kaos will cast a traptanium sword spawn attack (these deal 375 damage) , then level 3 energy columns until subphase 2. Use this subphase to get comfortable with the first 3-4/8 sword spawn attacks, and lvl 3 energy columns.

Phase 3 Sub Phase 2 (30% hp - 0% hp)
All previous attacks will be mixed. Learning to dodge the 4th-8th sword spawn attacks, and lvl 3 energy columns + bullets is the only way to survive. If Kaos manages to cast the 8th sword spawn attack (4th pattern at 2x speed, minus 2nd half), you will likely have your run ended.

Good Luck. I'd love to see more people pull this off, because I think I may be the only person in the world atm.
