Hi, I'm Australian BTW so this might be a little different from everybody else.

I'm in the Melbourne area in Victoria and every store I go to, has no traps aside from the obvious life and water, what everybody else has. I've been to three EB Games stores, 2 Big Ws, Three K-Marts and two JB Hi-Fi stores and there were no other elemental traps. I just want to find an undead trap and it seems all too much impossible.

Did Activision give out limited amounts of traps or something?
Also I haven't seen any Wave 2 Skylanders here in Australia at all, I assume a new shipment is coming in with them.

Wave 2 figures should hit on the 24th on November. Wave 2 trap have been released but they flew off the shelves. My local Big W only got 4 trays of wave 2 traps.

Same here. I'm not buying any - got one of each so I don't need anymore apart from the yet to be released Kaos trap - but I still look from time to time and my local stores seemed to only have water traps for a few days early last week. Last time I was in my local K-Mart I saw a few new ones.

Obviously Christmas might see a bit of a rush on them as kids are given the game for Christmas, but I will be surprised if traps don't get flogged off for bargain basement prices by February. You only need one of each element and I think for most people that will be enough. I expect to see them heavily discounted early next year.

That's my problem, I only have Water, Life, Magic and the Kaos trap from the Dark Edition, I don't have the other elements and it's really ticking me off.

And four trays? That's nuts, Activision really is giving us limited stock...

Really? I doubt it, I haven't seen any new traps at all. I might ask my local EB Games.

LOL in the USA we have the it the other way... We have so many traps that stores don't know where to put them all and because of this most stores did not order any wave 2 traps as they have no where to put them... If only they could send them over seas to you guys so we could get wave 2 every one would win!

The UK is pretty light on traps from what I'm seeing. My local Toys R Us and GAME only have Water/Life. Thankfully Smyths have both triple packs, so we grabbed those this weekend. At least we have one of each element now. Next step is to pick up the eight pack when it's released here in December.

At least you Aussies saw Wave 2 Traps. We haven't received Wave 2 Anything.

None of my local stores have ANY traps left. Very frustrating when I'd like to collect as many different traps as possible.

I was lucky. Went around a few stores in 1st wk of release. Tru, smyths & tesco. Got 31 traps so far.

I am quite shocked that the traps are selling so well. I mean we all thought these wouldn't sell that well, but now we see them almost sell more than the actual characters. Not saying the characters aren't good everything in this line is selling like crazy this year, even the minis, but just amazing to see the kids enjoy the traps so much.

Only trap I have unpackaged (undead hand) and even though I can't use it yet (I bought the 3ds version at TRU so I got a free trap) I love the trap! It looks awesome, and I can't wait to trap masker mind in it!

If they are selling well, it's because of the price point. Frankly I wished cores would go back to 7.99...

walking around k-mart today, and there is literally nothing of any quality in the toy isles you can buy for $7, a packet of DI discs is pretty much the only other thing.
a deck of freaking uno cards is $8.50

so yeah, the price point is defiantly a selling point.

I went to a Big W today and they had a good amount of stock, and overflowing with their Legendary exclusives, but only water traps on the hooks.

...America, can we trade? xD just kidding! I ordered the triple pack from Amazon, hopefully it'll be here before my birthday.

My TRU has oodles of Wave 1 traps...nothing wave 2. Most other non TRU stores have very poor selection.

I starting to notice wave 2 traps in all the stores, but if there is 24 in a case, maybe they aren't getting full cases! Or just not putting them all out at once, since there are tons of w1 traps on the floor..

I looked through my Toys R Us' giant selection of traps last week, and that's literally all they had on every peg compared to the wave 2 traps they had the week before! Looks like activisions new "pets" this year are the Jughead and Logholder sculpts, especially since they're continuing to ship them instead of prioritizing wave 2, which should be out everywhere now!

I agree. Not sure why, but Wave 1 is usually WAY TOO bulky for my tastes, and the remaining waves too thin.

For kiwis in the north island, there's a reasonable stock of traps in Hastings, I snagged all of mine day one with what in hindsight was terrifying fervour. I can keep an eye out for specific sculpts should you so desire, let me know if I can help.

No traps are running out here but I don't have any Wave 2 traps. I don't even have a Kaos Trap

actually so true... we hwve 10 billion air traps but not one

Exactly, Here we have like 100000 Air, Water and Fire Traps!

any idea when the trap i mentioned earlier is being released in the US?

I Missed out on two wave one traps and now Carnot find them in stores at all.......

When wave two traps arrived in stores I made sure That I got all the sculpts ......

Picked up A Kaos trap that I will keep packaged as I have the Ultimate Kaos trap from the dark edition .. (*_*)

Other portal masters are placing Xmas lights in the bottom of the trap box to light up the traps in the dark ........

This may sound stupid... but how do you know which trap captures which enemy?

Lol, it's fine,

All villains are a certain type of element.

For example,
Gulper is a water element, so you need a water trap to trap him,
Chompy Mage is a Life Element, so you need a life trap to trap him,
All traps are color coded to the element they are,
For example,
Life trap=Green
Water Trap=Blue

Besides, everytime you defeat a villain that's trappable, Eon tells you what kind of trap trap's them.

If you mean the mold/shape of the trap, it doesn't matter,

For example,
The Water Tiki Trap can capture The Gulper,
And The Water Jughead can also capture The Gulper.

The shape of the trap doesn't matter, just the element,
