i just found out that the messages you get by pressing the 'message' button on the start menu screen. are only available if your online. so this is it guys the first step of tfb doing something online in a skylanders game.

im also now playing through the ps3 version of trap team without the patch as we speak.. no serious bug/glitches to report yet. i use mostly wave1 and random older charathers

i really wonder what this 23mb patch is for, is this patch only for this online features?... since the save files work without the patch. that is what im thinking at the moment.

but we will see, i will keep you all posted in the bug/glitch thread if i find anything.

Just curious, Count; you don't want to patch the game, to keep track of the bugs, or you can't?

i have played the game with patch first, this time i play without the patch to see if any game breaking bugs appear...

Well, in this case, thanks for the service, Count.

i have come to stage 10 now with the unpatched gameplay.... only 2 bugs/glitches so far.

-gray orb stuck where the ncp stand after present was opened in the hub after level 8
-stage 9 where the boat is, there is a chest found by the magic item(chest from ssa) and its stuck in the ground, i couldnt open it. i tried replay the stage but it was gone...
-i tested with my variant villain riot shield shredder in the hub and he did show up (activision said that there was problem with variant villain if not patched)

when i played the patched version i got 3 bugs/glitches so far at stage 10.. but nothing serious and they did not show up in the unpatched version.

so it looks like if there is a bug/glitch its very random and next time you play you will not be able to replicate it and there may be a new one or nothing at all..

if there is anyone else that read this and have the ps3 version. please do a playthrough unpatched and tell me/us about your experience. this is of interest to everyone that have the ps3 version....


i will do the rest of the game unpatched later, stay tuned
