Future uses for Light and Dark

Well, everyone on here pretty much knows about the new elements.

Question is: How will it play out in the future? With only one core and Trap Master for each element, they are behind by quite a bit.

Anyone got any ideas for new Skylanders for new elements?

Here is my idea: They bring back the Sun Dragon and Cyclops Slime as new Skylanders. Sun Dragon is renamed to "Heliozard" and Cyclops Slime is renamed to "Slimeclops/Tarclops". Heliozard changes from green to a light gray and Slimeclops changes from a dark blue to a dark gray. Heliozard is nearly identical to his beta state and Slimeclops becomes a Slime Golem (B.O.B. with thick arms and legs).

Maybe... I hope the next game will have um.. Actually idk what will be in it but i had this idea for a game called Skylanders: Elemental Masters and the Dark one was a star on a moon (BY the way the elemental masters have one part of them that has their element on it ANYWAY... The dark one was Moon Star and she a was a star on the moon with a bunch of pink stars. The Light one was a giant sun. He is also powerful

An "interview" revealed that they are minor Elements, and will thus have less Skylanders in them.

However, as I already said in some other topics, the only way I would personally accept their introduction as full Elements would be the addiction of a Giant, two SWAP Force another Trap Master and the remaining Cores to get in pair with the other Elements, per Element.

I think all elements should only have 1 gimmick, 1 core, 1 mini and maybe one repose in each game from now on. I like that they haven't oversaturated the light/dark elements

The number of dark and light characters alone would be such a hit on everyone's wallet, especially for several characters that would be all but useless in Skylanders 5 (past gimmick characters). Those giants were so slow and useless in Swap Force. That would just be way too many characters to have to buy.

Of course, the elements could some how be newly created. That would explain why the elements weren't needed to build the core of light and why there was never a giant for each. Not sure how they would suddenly be created but it's the only thing that might make some sense.

As previously mentioned, I would greatly prefer a Light and Dark centered game, with both receiving 2 swappers (I feel this is the team in which equal amounts is more important than any other), 2 new specials (preferably equivalent to Giants, but with additional features exclusive to the small team of 4) to make up for the remaining "gimmick" difference (1 giant + 2 trappers vs 1 trapper), and 8 cores to make up for the core difference. And in addition: 10 cores (one in every element) for a total of 34 characters, or a grand total of 150 across all 5 games (100 of which being cores).

But with that being said, I probably won't mind whatever they do, unless they completely stop expanding upon them. I also think that they should set the limit here, and not add any more elements. 8 was enough, the 2 new ones are acceptable by a small margin, don't try pushing the line further.

Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

Well, actually I consider them to be more like reposes 2.0, and I was talking about brand new characters.

But, sure, why not?

I don't know if I'll be able to find it again, however, it was in the first french article that mentioned their names. They called them "mini Elements", and said they won't be treated like the other 8, at least for now.

Wouldn't it be nice if the next game was centered around the 2 new elements. They could be handled as if they are "cosmic powers" and therefor are fewer in number. It would also take the expense out of trying to play catch up by including them in a different theme with the other elements. They would be the focus and we still get a new core for each element. I really don't see a way that we as consumers could handle an all at once catch up with a full blown game (32 new characters) running simultaneously.
