Did Activision make a another LIE?

As we all know activision state-ed that all trap masters will have a jump special attack and they said all the trap masters ....well guess what gearshift doesn't have one and in not sure if lob star doesn't either but the point is will all trap masters have a special jump attack or did activision make another lie.

I think GS has one, you just have to be in the right mode... I could be wrong, but I thought so?

Gusto doesn't have one...
Unless throwing his boomerang while jumping is a jump attack.

That's what it is. It's same for Jawbreaker punching in the air.

That's what it is. It's same for Jawbreaker punching in the air.


I'm pretty sure very Skylanders can attack in the air while some Trap Masters can do a special attack in the air.

Not all of them can, apparently.

Snap Shot can, and Krypt King can too.
My fully upgraded Jawbreaker can't, and so does my Gusto.

Maybe you have to choose the right path...?

Wolfgang can. If you jump and use his slash attack, he slams his harp guitar on the ground.

Blades can too, but nor him or Wolfgang are Trap Masters.

Fist Bump can to a ground pound in the air, which even has one or two upgrades surrounding it.

Bushwhack and Head Rush can jump attack too. With his Axe and her Mega Stomp.

They said all Trap Masters would have a JUMP ATTACK
All skylanders can attack in the air but dont have a special air-exclusive attack
Jawbreakers, Wallop, Gusto, and Gearshift dont have them so I only blame not having enough development time

I just remember them saying every Skylander would now have a jump attack... which is true, even the old ones all have at least 1 attack they can do out of a jump (or at least every one I've tried it with so far) but not all attacks work during jumps and sometimes its not the primary attack that does.

I don't remember them ever saying every Trap Master would have a special, exclusive jumping attack that isn't just a normal attack during a jump. When did they say that? Maybe the rep that said it just messed up and misunderstood what the developers told them.

Well... Not that much, actually.

They did said something along those lines, but with all the """last minute changes""", such as Traptanium Elemental Gates being the only ones, or the villain timer, you never really know what they had in mind...

i haven't found one yet that doesn't have the ability to attack whilst in the air, though some are just their regular attacks, just off the ground.

some have two, for example Snap shot can use his main attack whilst in the air, as well as doing a spin then slam with the secondary attack.

so if its a unique attack that only happens after jumping, no, not all Trap Masters have one, but every skylander can attack while in the air.

At the beginning they said EVERY Trap Master would have a SPECIAL jump attack (Ground Pound)
Then we were told every Skylander could attack in the air but it would just be a standard attack

In the actual game only certain Trap Masters have a Special air attack. All can jump in the air but dont have a ground pound.

All the Skylanders released so far (I still don't own Wave 2 characters) and all the villains I've trapped since now can attack while in the air.
Some of them (including a few Trap Masters, such as Snap Shot and Krypt King) have a special animation that triggers a new attack.

Not all the attacks, however, can be done in mid air for all the characters.

By "added abilities" you mean the ability to attack while jumping?

If yes, then I can confirm that every regular Skylander from the previous games (not including reposes, Lightcores, variants or Minis, as I don't own any of them) can perform at least one of his attacks while jumping. Some of them can even use all of their attacks, while in mid air.

When I had trap team on Wii U some of them couldn't smilie I can't take a look now cuz I sold trap team it was soo bad for me.

However, I wouldn't see it as a "lie", just like the Traptanium Elemental Gates only, the villain timer at E3 or the removal of PvP.

Yes, they said that, but while it could have actually been a simple missunderstanding, they could have also simply changed that idea.

Don't forget that they practically only let people play those Trap Masters who have a special jump attack (Snap Shot, Krypt King, Wildfire and Head Rush, still not sure about Ka-Boom and Lob-Star, but I guess so).
