Apologies if this has been discussed or seems stupid in advance. We've started to trap villains, and place the traps in the holder. Are there really only 3 magic villains for example? Are the question marks in an elemental row additional villains from that element? I know there are sun and moon (or whatever they are), but is that all the question marks? I'm guessing someone who has beat the game best knows this info.

Reason I'm asking is, I don't see the point really in having more than 3 magic traps if we can only catch 3 magic villains.

Also who are the doom raiders? I assume: chompy Mage, dr krankcase, Wolfgang, dreamcatcher, chef pepper jack, and gold queen...she is one of the ? Right? What element is she?

Golden queen is not a question mark and she is leader of the doom raiders

So what element trap is used to catch her? Why isn't she on the trap holder that came with starter? Even kaos is on that!

Yes, there are only 3 magic villains. the question marks are for villains of the two unreleased elements.
as for how many traps you need, it is up to you. really only need one of each element, but if you want to have access to every villain at all times, then yeh, you only need 3.
personally, i'm collecting the traps as physical figures, rather than "villain holders" as i think they all look really nice, but i think i'm in a minority.

Yes, those are the Doom Raiders, with the addition of The Gulper, even though we don't really get to see him hanging with the others.

Golden Queen is of the Earth element. she is at the top of the earth column on the trap holder.

The Golden Queen IS on the Trap Holder. She's of the Earth element.

Oops! I see her now at the top of Earth column, had a trap in Tussel Sprout and missed her. So 8 question mark villains for 2 new elements.

I think I'll continue to collect the traps for a complete set, but thanks everyone for clarification!
