Hi Dark Spyro peeps, new member here and loving the site so far. Awesome to see so many Skylanders fans in one place!

My daughter Abby and I run a website and Twitch channel focusing on family/kid friendly game videos and streaming and this Friday and Saturday we are doing a 24 hour charity live stream for the Extra Life program and Children's Miracle Network on our Twitch channel. We'd like to invite you all to come hang out with us, watch some Skylanders, and help raise money for a great cause. Oh, and the most important detail, we will be giving away a TON of Skylanders stuff, including:

• Kaos Trap
  
• Gearshift
  
• Jade Fire Kraken
  
• Misc. figures from Swap Force, Giants, and Spyro's Adventure
  
• Copies of past Skylanders games
  
• ...plenty more
  

Here is a shot of some of the items we will be unboxing and playing on the stream as well as some of the giveaway items mixed in.



All you have to do to win is be in the channel and following us when we do a giveaway. We will also have some special prizes for people that donate.

The whole thing starts at 6 PM on Friday and right now the times for Skylanders will be on Friday night around 9 or 10 PM and then again all day Saturday from about 9 AM to 6 PM. All times EST.

Here's hoping that next year's Skylanders installment will include an online component so we'll be able to play live during next year's stream with viewers/supporters! As it is, they'll just get to watch me (hopefully) mop the floor with you guys tomorrow night.

Well, it's over! With your help we raised $350 for Children's Miracle Network and that is fantastic for a small channel like ours. We are sincerely grateful to all of you from Dark Spyro that supported us this weekend with your donations, comments, and viewership. It was a blast and we couldn't have done it without you.

To all who won prizes during the stream: Matt and Abby will be working hard this week to get everything sorted, packaged, labeled and out the door to you. Due to the number of giveaways we did, these may not get into the mail until late this week or early next as appropriate boxes/envelopes/etc. have to be found, school and work still have to be attended, etc. If you have any questions regarding the status, feel free to drop a line here or PM myself or minikaboom and we'll check and respond back ASAP.

To anyone disappointed that my near-factory-fresh NES didn't find a home, don't worry! I've still got a ton of systems from my collecting days, so it will again come up as a prize at some future date and will intentionally be warming a shelf at my house. If anyone wants to talk NES shop, shoot me a PM, I'd love to hear from fellow collectors!
