Hello Everyone, just wondering if anyone else has noticed their Skylanders Trap Team figures being reset to Level 1! This happened to us 3 times that we know of in two days!
Food Fight, Dark Snapshot and Elite Chop Chop. Not sure if it has anything to do with this, but switching between game saves/Ipad seems to be the only thing I can think of.
Anyone else have a Broken Trap Team undoing their hard work?

Only levels or also upgrades?
I've heard others having the same problem, in the Glitch and Bugs topic.
Never happened to me, tough (finger crossed...).

No, I haven't had any problems, but a few of my Skylanders owon't be read (Although they work after a couple of tries)
They are Swarm and Nitro Magna Charge.

I have had hat problems with the Swappers though. Now THAT'S annoying.

what console versions?....

I havent had any issues with it on my end, but even if they did reset its pretty easy to get them back up to where they were, so its not too big of a deal.

Now that you guys bring that up, when i was upgrading a characters on STT I accidentally pressed the switch bottom and when i went back to my character BOOM!!! it was on level 1 with only its basic two upgrades. After that happened i simply just took the skylander off the portal put it back and i went back to its current level with all the upgrades it was supposed to have. I'm not sure if it was on SSF but I'm
sure 95 percent it was on STT

I had ssf reset 2 of mine and reduce the level of my s1 dark spyro, he was at 15 and it set him to I think 7 or 8. annoying yes but nothing too devastating and it rarely happens. of my 200+ that I have makes the ratio extremely low

They get pretty much EVERYTHING early

Depends on how much is wiped. If you have earlier Skylanders that you have completed every Heroic Challenge with, then it could take HOURS to get them back to where they were if they get fully reset. And that includes doing that ridiculously annoying You Break It You Pay challenge that took me DAYS to do with one of my Stealth Elf characters.

Level ups and cash for upgrades is easy, but quests and HC's are not, particularly if it happens to multiple toys.

I only did all heroics on one of my sunburns they were a pain to complete for all characters and that sunburn holds a very special place for me, even now hes hanging on to the top of my laptop. I do understand that it could get annoying in the case of losing all that work though.

I should have mentioned before I had this happen with Giants. But oddly it happened after I had been playing it for ages. I had even achieved all the accolades up to Grand Admiral. But when I went back to play it, it wiped a couple of my characters clean. Some characters would lose some of their upgrades and experience, others would lose the lot. Fortunately not any of the characters that I had completed everything with.

So I contacted Activision, because it was making the game pretty much unplayable and they suggested that it was a corrupt game save. Now this was annoying because I had achieved 3 stars in every chapter on Nightmare mode which had taken me a while, but I bit the bullet, deleted the save file and started again and haven't had a problem with it since.

Which reminds me I still need one more star to complete my Giants Grand Admiral ranking again. Must go a finish that.

Showcase the bugs in videos and see if Activision posts a fix. If anything you're saying is in fact a problem, that's your only hope. Wow, I really won't be using Swap Force in TT if it corrupts figures.

Disappointing, to say the least.

So out of everyone replying to this current topic... why are people only giving -vague- details on what is happening. It would be a lot more HELPFUL if people would explain which level it happened on, what character reset and what level your current skylander was at. I haven't had any issues yet but almost any character pre-TT has been level 20 already so I haven't seen any issues on my end but I would be very upset if quests/heroics are reset since that takes a ton of time beyond just levels.


Also... someone said something about corrupted Swap Force swappers? Can you explain exactly what is corrupted on them; they don't work on ST anymore? That seems troublesome.

The bug thread does require specific details, platform, etc.

SkylanderDad, please post SPECIFIC problem in the Bug thread. Look at other posts for posting examples. Activision monitors that thread. Doesn't mean that they will ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING, but they will read it. Assuring, huh?

I'm not entirelly sure but I did look at Activisons FAQs on their site with current glitches/bugs and I'd ahve to say at least 70% are typically swapping out Skylanders at the worst possible times. Like during cutscenes or in the middle of talking characters or switching to fast not letting the animations finish. I might be incorrect on the assumption but typically that seems to be the kicker. I personally haven't had any skylander reset I usually swap after the previous skylander has already shown up and moved them around a bit before swapping yet again.

So far I have not been able to get reset stats when trying to swap and tag team at worst times.

Used a spare Spyro that was level 3 and a Snap Shot at lv 17 on xbox 360 to check it out.

This happened to me when I was playing Skylanders: Giants for the Wii, but it didn't happen to me any other game.
