I'm thinking about both physical and in-game problems. Which do you think are the most fragile figures? Also, does anyone have any lightcore (or giant) charachter which doesn't light up on the portal anymore?

Well, my S1 Gill Grunt doesn't work anymore as my sister decided to mess around with him and somehow broke his base part off. When I put it back on him, he ceased to function on the game itself. I also have a S2 Slam Bam who split directly in half but he can be put back together easily and taken apart easily, like a Swap Force. My S1 Chop Chops arm also broke recently. And theres a few more, but I don't want to make this too long.

My S3 Ninja Stealth Elf stopped working for no apparent reason about 4 months after I got it. Apart from that, my Bouncer doesn't always light up on the Traptanium portal (Xbox360), but he lights up just fine on any of my older portals and all the 3DS portals.

My sprocket doesn't work - I was hoping for a S3 sprocket, guess not. I will just have to buy the ugly tank one...

The tank one is not that bad, especially if you get skylanders to play with the toys too like me.

None so far for me, thankfully. Or well who knows for certain as far as in-game use goes, I haven't played with the vast majority of them for more than 6 months

well, no, but my upper half of used to not work, but i tested it, and it finally worked.

My series 1 prism breaks arm broke off.

S1 Prism Break lost an arm, as well as S2 Slam Bam. Chill and Stealth elf lost their heads once. Other than that...

S1 Chop Chop: shield arm came off
S1 Hex: Arm falls off A LOT
S1 Chill: Head came off
L-Chill: Head came off
Blizzard Chill: Head came off
Mini Jini: Head came off
S1 Flashwing: Wing came off
Dino Rang: Doesn't work in-game.

I hope i never have to use this thread

Dysfunctional: My Skylanders don't really get along with others and are prone to violence.

My S1 Hex's arms are broke off.

My dog ate part of my S1 I just threw it out, 'cause it was disgusting.

My Gnarly Tree Rex isn't recognized by the portal any more, but he still lights up.
Anyone have any thoughts on how he might be fixed? Surly someone here has tried.

I'm not sure which portal you are using, but I have noticed with a couple of my giants on the TT portal, they will have a better chance of reading if placed near the outside. Placing them in the direct middle sometimes causes a read error.

I have had the heads of my S1 Whirlwind, Star Strike and LC Hex break off once. Theyre all fixed now, though. Whirlwind and Star Strike were relatively easy to fix with glue, but we had to use epoxy on Hex.

the head of my s1 spyro came off because the stupid little kid me accidentally ripped it off
had to be fixed with glue

My Crusher's shoulder pads did not light up when I purchased it, returned it and got a new one (During Giants release).
Other than that, We have had no issues with any other. Knock on wood...

The light on the trap part of my portal doesn't light up and more :/ keep forgetting to call Activision to see what can be done.

Whirlwind's wind was loose but my grandfather super glued it back on when it finally fell off in my hand. Other then that and chipped paint and something raddling in the figures themselves I've been okay.

My dog took our Tree Rex and designed a custom "Gnarly Hand Tree Rex". We are now thinking about letting her try a custom"Nappy Head Rush" design with that figure.

Of the 200 figures I have I finally had one fail for the first time last week, and it was Pumpkinhead Eye-Brawl. Overall they have very good build quality on them as far as I'm concerned. Less then 1% failure rate is great these days.
