what is the best hat in trap team

they totally killed off my earlier favorite the volcano hat.. is there any other hat with 3 elements that is good?... at the moment i use the obsidian helm (+7 hit/+10 armor/+6 speed).

Use the Knight Helm Hat (+20 hit, +20 armor, +6 or +7 speed) , the only hat that is better is the one you get for beating Kaos Doom Challenge ( candy cane hat).

I saw the way they wrecked the volcano hat smilie I have that on practically all my Skylanders in Swap Force. Hopefully one of the new hats will be just as good as that one was, but I can understand them doing it since they'd want you to earn a hat like that through Nightmare mode or something else.

yeah it was my favorite to... gotta get that Knight Helm now then everything should be fine.

There are two ways, either 1) beating Giants on Nightmare difficulty or 2) reaching a certain Portal Master rank in Swap Force and buying it.

The Volcano hat was a VV hat. The Knight Helm was a TFB hat. Maybe that has something to do with it.

i got the hat now.... +8 speed wasnt much that was the only bad thing about the knight helm.

so next question, what is the hat with most speed in trap team?....

To get the Rainbow Hat, does it have to be the entire game in Nightmare mode?

Start a new game on Nightmare mode, you can't change from easy to nightmare.

You can play through the entire game on Easy, then bump it up to Hard for the final boss to easily get a hat that's roughly on par with the Knight Helm power-wise, called the Gold Arkeyan Helm. After that, you can run through on Nightmare on the second file to get the Rainbow Hat.

the Candy Cane hat is pretty potent too, 20 Crit, 20 Armor, 10 Speed, you get that from beating the Tower defense mode.

knight helmet is +20 hit, +20 Armor, +8 Speed.... that is 2 more in speed smilie

Got a point, though the Candy Cane hat isn't a legacy hat. Admittedly the Knight Helm looks less silly.

Are you certain that you cannot just switch to Nightmare mode and then go the Chapter 1 until 18 even though the whole game ended at Chapter 18?

I have beat TT on Hard and don't have the option to change the difficulty to Nightmare. So I had to start a new save file on nightmare for the hat.

Yes, I think it is... However, it is on a new save file, so it doesn't affect your "main" game.

My question is, do the hats share between games? Or, in the case with giants, do you have 1 game with almost all hats and 1 game with 1 hat?

Start on file 2 the nightmare and complete the game and you will unlock the rainbow hat (if you haven't complete others difficults yet it unlocks all the hats from the easy, normal, hard mode). You can use that hats on file 1.
All the four files are linked, it isn't like Giants.

I wish they would add a feature to "hide" the hat your skylander is wearing. Some are ridiculous looking and my kids don't really like them. I however really enjoy the stats.
