I am going to try writing a story on a dragon that i drew in one of the other topics. His name is Rougestone and he is a brown and green dragon. You will get to know more about him over time.

Awesome! Another story to look at.

No clouds in the sky, sun beating down on a lone dragon flying over an ancient forest that he had only heard stories about. Some of the sunlight reflected off of his green and brown scales; creating a greenish sheen to his appearance. The weather was clear without any sign of clouds or rain. Rougestone found this weather to be boring; he always had to have something exciting going on. It was days like this that he wanted something, anything, to happen. He carried nothing with him but the scales on his back. His destination; unbeknownst to even himself. For he is the kind of dragon that lets fate decide his path; he is a wanderer. Rougestone was getting tired after the long trip he had just taken, so he decided to land and rest for a while. He landed near a pond and took a drink and started to relax in the shade, when all of a sudden, someone or something tackled him.

Whoa! That's good so far! We may have a writer in our midst.

"What the........" said Rougestone
"Oh, Hi!! Sorry about that, i thought you were someone else."
"Yeah, well make sure that you know who you are tackling before you do it"
*Rougestone starts to walk away*
"Where are you going?"
"Away from here."
"Why? We just met. My name is Sapphire. What's yours?"
*Rougestone turned back around and noticed that she was a blue and white dragon that was maybe a year younger than he was*
"My name doesn't matter, see ya."
*Rougestone started to fly away but was cut off by Sapphire*
"What do you want?!"
"Not friendly, now are you?"
"I will ask again, what do you want?"
"What? We can't talk for a second?"
"No"
"Well, why not?"
"Because I don't want to"
*Rougestone tries to leave again, but is cut off again by Sapphire*
"Well, if you are going to be like that, can you atleast tell me your name?"
"If i do, will you leave me alone?"
*Sapphire nods her head*
"It's Rougestone"

“Rougestone, that’s a funny name”
“Great, now can you leave me alone?”
“That was our deal, I guess I can. Or I could go with you.”
“No way are you coming with me! Didn’t you say that you were looking for someone when you tackled me?”
“Yeah, but I can look for him later”
“The answer is still no”
“Why not?”
“Because I don’t want anyone to go with me”
“Well, that is not a good enough answer for me”
“It doesn’t have to be. I got to go”
*Rougestone tries again for a third time but is cut off once again*
“That is starting to get really annoying now. What do you want from me?”
“I just want to talk”
“I don’t want to talk. Why can’t you just leave me alone?”
*Sapphire pauses for a moment*
“Why won’t you leave me alone?” asked Rougestone again
“Because…….”
“Because, why?”
“Because…….I think that you are kinda cute”

ooohhhhh......... hes not gonna like that!

“Cute?” asked Rougestone
“Yeah, cute”
“Right….. I still have to go now”
“But you still haven’t told my why I can’t come with you.”
“Because I am a wanderer. Do you know what that means?”
“No….not really”
“It means that I don’t like to travel with others, even if they think that I am ‘cute’”
“Even someone like me?”
“Even someone like you”
“Fine then! I don’t want to go with you any way. See ya, Rougestone.”
*Sapphire descends to the ground and starts to walk away*
(to himself) “Finally, she’s gone. It’s about time”
Rougestone starts to fly in the direction he was headed in earlier and doesn’t think twice about what just happened.

he sounds a bit like shadow of sonic

(Down on the ground)
*talking to herself*
“I still don’t get why he wouldn’t let me go with him. I mean, what is not to like about me? He is just stubborn, that’s it, just stubborn. I bet he feels really bad for not letting me come with him”
(Back in the sky)
*talking to himself*
“What was that dragon’s problem? I have seen many dragons before, but none of them were like her. She was crazy! Cute, I am not ‘cute’. Maybe I should……no, what am I thinking?! I am a wanderer. I don’t need to have to worry about anyone else aside from me.”

*Still flying in the same direction and talking to himself*
“I still don’t understand her. And why am I thinking about what happened so much? It doesn’t matter what happened. I just need to let it go. It would be no good for her to be hanging out with me. I just need to let it go and forget about her.”
Since he didn’t get much of a rest because of Sapphire. Rougestone decided to try again and rest for a little while. He spotted a nice shady tree in the middle of a large open field. He flew down and laid in the shade, and eventually fell asleep.

(Back where Sapphire was walking)
*still talking to herself*
“I still can’t believe him. I don’t understand boys at all. I thought that he would appreciate me calling him cute. I guess not.”
Sapphire kept on walking and she forgot why she was even in the forest to begin with. So she just kept on walking and admiring her surroundings.
(Back with Rougestone)
As he was sleeping, he heard a loud noise that startled him. As he opened his eyes, all he saw was smoke. After squinting through the smoke he saw the shadow of a dragon and all of a sudden, the shadow was attacked by another. Then, all Rougestone could see was fire.
(Back to Sapphire)
As she was walking, she came across a tree line and a large field with a lone tree in the center. As she looked around, she thought that she could make out a dragon lying underneath the tree. But the sun was at its highest and she couldn’t make out who it was. So, out of curiosity, she started to make her way over to the tree to investigate. She started getting close to the tree but she still couldn’t tell who it was that she was looking at due to the sun. She was so close to whoever this dragon was, that see was close enough to hear him breath. All of a sudden, the dragon jumped up and hit his head on a low branch. As he landed, she noticed that he was sweating terribly and shaking a bit. Only when he stood up did she realize who it was.
“Rougestone, what are you doing here?”
*After seeing who it was, she forgot about what had happened earlier*
“None of your business” Rougestone said in a grouchy tone.
“What happened to you?”
“Didn’t I tell you to leave me alone?”
“Sorry, I thought that I was being nice to you just now. No need to get mad at me”
“Why are you following me?”
“I wasn’t.”
“It sure seems like it”
“I was just walking and I came across this field and you”
“Sure, whatever you say”
“WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!?!?!?!” She screamed
“What is yours? You are the one that has been following me.”
“I SERIOUSLY DON’T GET YOU!!”
“What is there to get? and could you stop yelling?”
“NO, I CAN’T STOP YELL…ing, what…is…..your…..problem?” she said as she ran out of breath.

Sapphire woke up with Rougestone staring at her.
“What happened?”
“You were yelling too much and you fainted”
She then picked up her head and noticed that they weren’t in the field anymore.
“So where are you from anyway, Sapphire?.........Sapphire?
“O, sorry, What did you say?”
“I asked where you are from”
She was about to say something snappy to him because of how he acted earlier, but she decided not to and enjoy the fact that he was talking to her and not trying to run away.
“Well, like most dragons that live in large families, I live in a temple just outside of the forest.”
“And who were you looking for earlier when you tackled me?”
“I was looking for my brother when I tackled you……o man!! He is probably looking for me now! I have to go find him!”

“Why?”
“It is pretty obvious that you don’t want to leave me alone”
“What?! I would leave the moment I get a chance to.”
“No you wouldn’t. If you wanted to leave me, you would have left me under that tree in the field.”
“No……I’d leave……but ……”
“So let’s go already”
After saying that, Sapphire dragged Rougestone through the forest in search of her brother.

After a few moments of Sapphire dragging Rougestone, Rougestone got out of Sapphire’s grip.
“You know that I can walk on my own” Rougestone said
“Yes I know that. I just didn’t want you to run away from me again.”
“Ok, well I won’t run this time. I can’t seem to get rid of you anyway”
Disregarding the last thing that Rougestone said, Sapphire started walking and calling out her brother’s name. Thinking that he was probably going to regret it, he followed Sapphire farther into the forest.

Rougestone caught up to Sapphire and started asking her some more questions.
“So who exactly are you looking for?”
“I told you, we are looking for my brother”
“Ok, you told me that. What does he look like?”
“Well, since he is my brother, he looks sort of like me in colors.”
“A blue dragon in a green forest, this shouldn’t be too hard”
“Then you shouldn’t have a hard time finding him”
After she said that, she started running.
(to himself)*I still don’t know why I followed her*
and he ran after her.

*while they were running*
“So what is your brother’s name?” asked Rougestone
“His name is Bluefire” replied Sapphire
“How did he get that name?”
“Isn’t it obvious? He is blue like I am, but he breathes fire”
“And is the fire that he breathes blue too?”
“Yes it is” ( to herself )“Man, and he thought that I was asking too many questions”
Rougestone decided to hold off on asking anymore questions and look for Sapphire’s brother. In his mind, he thought that as soon as they find him, the sooner that he can leave. Rougestone was paying attention to the path ahead of him, enjoying the silence that had fallen over the two of them, when he noticed a small, blurry, blue figure off in the distance.

oh, you noticed we used the same name?! well i think i thought of it first, but it dosen't matter! he can use the name!

i forgot that she had used that name in her story. he is a totally different dragon aside from the color and the fire
