Just thought I'd post some useful information for those of us who display sealed Skylanders on our wall.
We all know Trap Master packaging is crazy big, and it gets in the way of tacking them to a wall, but I found a way that works like a charm.
I just got done setting my walls for Trap Team. I didn't think I'd have room, but I removed all Triple Packs and re-arranged my Skylanders room around, and can fit everything Trap Team related, minus the Triple Packs (which I will put into 30 gallon buckets to save until I can build a house and a massive room for everything Skylanders related.
Anyhow, what you need are 3 1/2 inch nails. Get them thick for better support. 16D 3 1/2 inch (8.89 CM) will do the trick.
Now there's another thing one needs to do. When hanging Trap Masters, the packaging likes to veer to the left. After hanging a Trap Master, place another nail to the left of it and hammer it in until the flat end of the nail touches the plastic. This will keep the packaging from veering left.
I got many empty slots in my wall, for unreleased Trap Team stuff. I can't believe I was able to fit 4 games worth of Skylanders on my wall (again minus Triple Packs; ie Funny Bone/Chopper/Shroomboom), but I managed, and got Trap Masters to hang gloriously.
Hope this info helps.

Would love to see some pictures of this implemented as I've been debating on what to do with them.

Here are the pics I meant to put up a couple of days ago.
I use the type of nails listed above. They can go into the wall far enough, while allowing enough room to hang the figures peg style. This last pic is to show everyone where to put an extra nail, as some of the Trap Masters are heavy and cause the packaging to lean to the left. I put one on every Trap Master, even those that don't lean, just for the sake of matching those that needed the extra nail to hold the packaging straight.

Yeah, CMB, that's the plan once I get a big enough house built. I need a room large enough to display all Slylanders merch released up to that point, plus more games going forward.

Does anyone who keeps figures carded know if anyone makes protectors for the carded figures? Like some kind of acrylic bubble to put the sealed figure in?
