I actually never knew they had them.

i was on soda springs and i realised it said 2/3 soul gems but i have all the soul gems, and i remember not getting some more in certain levels, even though i had them all. Its all the missions with mystery gates in as well, which means there are 4 hidden within the gates.

no really...

I knew they'd have soul gems but I thought they'd be in the action packs. I never expected them to hide one in the storyline.

Actually that's two hidden in non Adventure pack stories, makes me wonder which ones...

Presumably we'll get one dark and light with each adventure pack, leaving the other two as general purchases.

If it's confirmed to be two within the Main Story, it does make sense that the Trap Master Soul Gems are behind a gate of the respective element within the main game, since only they are able to open them, while the Core Soul Gems are hidden within their respective Adventure Level, just like the SSA Adventure Packs. Putting the Core Soul Gems behind elemental gates would be a bad move, since they wouldn't be able to access them, so hopefully that is the case.

That makes perfect sense to me. Though, I was always assuming that both the core and trap masters would be in the adventure packs since there aren't any unaccounted magic items besides the adventure pieces themselves.

i was thinking the same thing Toy SoldierMafia, the adventure packs might have their traps instead of something too

They'd need special boxes to fit a Trap Master in the pack, and they would be more expensive than any other Adventure Pack. It's much more probable that the Magic Items are replaced with a trap of the same element as the pack, most likely Shadow Spider and Heavenly Hawk for Dark and Light respectively (those traps are completely unique).

Umm... Actually Trap Master Soul gems are in the adventure packs.. Spotlight's soul gem and Blackout's soul gem were in level 1 and 2!

Blackout's Soul Gem is in Chapter 2: Know-It-All Island. I know this, because I got it and Spotlight's been leaked after the glitches were found,
