I was just lying on my bed, trying to remember the childhood I would soon leave entirely (17 is still a childhood, right?), when I remembered that there was such a thing as meme billboards. There was one for the Y U NO guy, such as this:


While people would immediately respond with a "Because we don't know about it, dummy!" the response is just the answer the Hipchat advertisers are looking for, so they can get new customers to get to know about the app.

Foster's Home for Imaginary friends was one of the most remarkable shows I grew up with, even if it only lasted for SIX seasons! What really sold was the idiotic character who smells as bad as he is named, Cheese.


He looks as cute as a baby, but that's the exact reason why he shouldn't be trusted.

Seriously, who can argue with THIS?



I guess people also really loved when he said, "I pooted," in this video (which is why there was that billboard):



In fact, the phrase made him a hit...maybe too much of a hit, I would say.

I guess people really like the ridiculousness that can only be presented in cartoons. It makes me wonder...why don't most of today's cartoons have that kind of funniness?
