Bushwhack or Lob Star or Head Rush?

I got a coupon for a skylander and can only afford to get one new trap master and I have no clue which one to get.
Pros and Cons for each

Bushwhack
Pro the life TM I like
Con gameplay seems bland

Lob star
Pro love his game play and design of the figure
Con already have a water TM

Head Rush
Pro same with Lob star
Con none really

End notes: I'm leaning more towards Lob Star and Head Rush over Bushwhack. I kind of think I should get Lob Star because he seems more popular and will probably be harder to get later down on the road. Yet on the other hand Head Rush is the earth TM I am planning to get. Would like some advice from people who have already got them.

If you want to open the life gates get Bushwhack as Tuff Luck may not come out for a while

If it was me, I'd grab Lob Star over the others. He seems awesome, and personally I prefer getting a 'Lander I think I'd like to play as more than I like unlocking more gates.

It comes down to what's important to you individually. If you're more into unlocking the game content than individual characters, one of the others might be the way to go. Considering you haven't listed any cons for Head Rush, she looks like a really good choice (less chance of any feelings of regret, perhaps)?

Either way, I wish you luck with your decision. smilie

Head Rush's attack style is horrible and super tough to use compared to Wallop (in my humble opinion). I'm torn between Bushwhack and Lob Star, they're both very awesome and look SUPER powerful. I'd go Bushwhack for now if you like in-game variants, and then perhaps get Winterfest Lob Star when he's out. If you don't wanna wait, then I really don't know who you should get, but I'm a sucker for in-game variants so this is just what I'm doing. Whatever floats your boat.

Get Lob Star! I have every new skylander that is out (except Deja Vu, as I cant find that pack) and over all I have to say Lob Star is my favorite New Skylander. The only reason I would say to get one of the others is if you plan on waiting to get the X-miss version of Lob Star "Winter-Fest Lob Star".

I think I'm going to go for Lob Star. Yeah I do love to 100% unlock a game but after seeing Tuff Lucks soul gem I prefer her now over Bushwack. Plus I am already waiting for Short Cut to unlock the undead gates. Head Rush seems to not be a fan favorite and therefore there will probably be lots in stock when I can afford to buy another. So by process of elemination Lob Star wins. That and after watching more game play of him I just love his play style.

Thanks for all the feed back. Now I just have to wait for my GameStop to get him so I can use my coupon.

I would get Lob Star, I've used all three and I like his gameplay the most (by a lot) out of the three. Head Rush is ok Bushwack = boring.

Get Lob Star bro! I've played all three of these skylanders, fully upgraded them, reset them, and upgraded to get the other path. And I have to say, Bushwhacks attacks are the WORST out of the three, and Head Rush is meh, but Lob Star is like the holy grail of Trap Masters

I would go with Lob Star if you are ok with having 2 water...he is by far my favorite trap master. If you want a variety then definitely Bushwhack...I was not excited about him but his spinning combo is awesome. Head Rush is by far in last place out of these 3. I was super excited about her but not anymore....she is slow and her attacks are boring. I was so excited to do her yodel attack but she can still be attacked by enemies when doing it which is weird.

It comes down to one thing, what's more important to you, fun character - or gate access?

Forget about Headrush, she is difficult to play, and frankly wil lbe 'on shelves' until they stop selling the game.

Frankly, - so far - Bushwack hasn't been fun. His primary attack is good, but repetitive. His headbutt is lovely, his acorn through is throw away for me. I haven't gotten to his tree attack yet, though its 'conceptually' one of my favorite moves in the game.

Lob Star has by far been my favorite Trap Master. Wha I don't get is he's essentially Stinkbomb on crack - whom I felt was the worst SF figure, but he just works well here.

so game play wise I recommend Lob Star, but I agree with others - Tuff Luck most likely will be a Wave 4 figure (just a guess...same time as Enigma smilie ) so you may want Bushwack just to get into gates.

I personally would select Bushwhack (Legendary version). I really enjoy the way he uses his Traptanium Axe to inflict heavy damage to enemies. His axe spin attack, including the acorn-throwing barrage, makes for one of his greatest attacks. As for Lob-Star and Head Rush, I will wait for their variant forms; Winterfest Lob-Star and Nitro Head Rush.

I can say that Bushwhack actually isn't that bad in terms of gameplay.

I went with bushwhack mostly just for completion sake.
But I am honestly really enjoying him, I went with his armor path, which makes him super cool looking imo.
Also, giant axes are awesome!

At the end of the day he's just a character that you spam the main attack with and occasionally add in a head butt. So basically like most characters in this game. Haha.

If being able to open Life gates is a priority, get Bushwhack. Otherwise, Lob-Star > Head Rush > Bushwhack

I held out on all 3 because I wanna buy Legendary Bushwhack, Winterfest Lobstar, and Nitro Head Rush.
