Both are actually pretty good and unique; Treadhead works if you want to get up close to your enemies and use flame spin burnouts to deal with pursuing pests, Fist Bump if you want to do a bit of keep away and utilize his spikes.

Tread.
Fist seems very bland and boring to me in both design and move set. |

Tread Head. One of the most unique skylanders so far in both design and attack style.

Fist Bump all the way. Tread Head is unique but I think he is limited because of the motorcycle. Fist Bump is stronger once he is upgraded.

Both are awesome, but Tread Head is just so cool. Fist Bump is extremely OP when fully upgraded.

I enjoy both, but I'd take Fist Bump over Tread Head.

I thought I'd vote Fist Bump, but after actually playing them, I'm going Tread Head.
For one thing, he's one of the only actually fast Skylanders of all the new ones (not counting reposes/minis here) out so far, so its nice to switch to him after getting bored of trudging along slowly all the time. But also, his attack style is very unique and effective - he runs over stuff in front of him, but then uses a backfire attack to attack things behind him (which also has a wide range and good knockback, kinda like Food Fight's shotgun attack). His spin move not only does a AoE when you don't feel like driving through stuff and hitting them after you pass them, but reduces all damage he takes by half while he's spinning and you can keep it going as long as you want, so it acts as a defense move as well. I also appreciated the nice touch that if you jump while he is doing a wheelie, you do a backflip instead of his normal jump animation (but can use a backfire attack in mid-air even during the backflip). Overall he went from being a figure I initially assumed I wouldn't bother with, to one of the most fun of the new figures thus far, even before any of his upgrades. That said I don't really care for his voice actor much. |
