Thought I might have missed it, anyone see this months quests yet?

Nothing. I was expecting it to show up in the 12th since so many sales were ending there, but still nothing.
(actually,not even the toy link quests, too)

Well where I live I don't tend to get the update for another 5 hours at least.

According to Advisor_Orville in other thread, there is an update that's supposed to fix the magic sanctum issue (and presumably has the undead sanctum quest and possibly Trap Team updates), but it's stuck in Apple approval.

Due to the delay in approval, watch it start with 15 collections needed and 7 days left on the clock ...

They cannot do it that way, they legally cannot make an impossible quest. Most likely it will be around 5 collections needed and 7 days on the clock for the summoning stone, 8 sanctuary collections and 100 undead adventures

Legally? Just what statute does this violate?

I'm sure if that happened it would just be a mistake due to the delay in approval, but they don't have to give us the quest at all. They could just make it so we have to buy it with gems.

I think obidawsn is saying that the patch might have had the sanctum quest in it, and it might have been set up to all for enough time to collect it. But because it's been delayed, there won't be enough time to achieve the quest. I think if that happens, they will have to find a way to fix that too which has a type of beautiful irony to it.

I think that the sanctum fix will be an app update, which I hope happens today. Quests can be hot-patched in without updates, so it's not like they have to embed it in the app update and deal with the uncertainties of Apple approval. They can push the app update and then the quest as a weekly internal update just like normal (and thus know exactly what day it will start on).

Hopefully things will be sane, but the world is not always not way.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. It will have to be adjusted, was just pointing out it would be funny if it went live with the original parameters. At this point, it will either have to be ridiculously short or simply be given out for logging in - maybe as a "Yay, let's celebrate Trap Team" thing. That is, if they hope to finish out the month in the way they usually do with the Toy Link Tower and timed quest related to the sanctum. Also, remember it will require an update, which cannot be done over a data plan - it has to be over WiFi - the game is too large to fit in Apple's limitations (larger than 50 MB at present, I believe). So that means many will have another day or two before the upgrade is installed and ready, depending on how they update.

If they make it so you just have to buy it if you want and give a short window of availability, it will cause a great deal of upset. Many people who normally do the quest might not have the gems saved for it.

No update and no Super Tuesday.

At this point I'm hoping we even get the undead Sanctum at all

I just want the undead toy link tower.

I want both, Undead's the only element I can actually have Sanctums fully running nonstop without risking losing wish stones if I check 10 minutes too early, and gems are always welcome if you're playing F2P.

We aren't rolling in money or gems but once we hit level 40 ALL the quests just dried up.
We did the expensive upgrades and houses and even our first little island. But it's weird not having something to do. we were looking forward to the quest.

i guess this is how a lot of players have felt for a long time--but it's just "new" to us.

In addition to just hanging out on this forum, the Sanctums, and the hope that Trap Team skylanders would be added, has been what's been keeping me going.

Old activision went stealth on us before and it lasted about 2 months .

Actually, you could probably say that they legally cannot do an impossible quest. I do recall some rule for apps(not sure if just Android or Apple or both) where you have to disclose that X thing needs to be bought with the microtransaction currency - if they have a quest saying you can get it for free and you actually can't(or only can with the Ermit for halved sanctuary time), it'd be false advertising about it. But it'd probably be a huge hassle to whoever would sue or report them to the app stores about it, so doubt it changes anything.
But they can always fix the times and required adventures to something bearable in a patch, no reason for them not to if the time they first sent by now will go past October - it'd get in the way of the Tech alter ego and the Tech sanctuary if those actually got patched in quickly.

I am at level 32 with 91 Skylanders. All but 4 are linked.
I have only 2 quest to do. Buy a clay something and upgrade summoning stone. Most of my Skylanders are at level 12. I have the remaining 13 on adventures to get to level 12.
I want more quest to do something or it'll get very boring working the rest of the levels.

Working the rest of the levels *is* a quest of sorts.

Life is too short to get bored friend . There are other games out there. I am not bored yet so i will keep farming .

You are confusing Apple rules with Law. You cannot sue them for breaking Apple rules. At best you could report it to Apple and they could remove it from the store/suspend publishing privileges of the developer if it violated their rules.

You could try to sue them over some false advertising thing or something, but you would never win and your costs would far outweigh your damages, which would dissuade almost any attorney from taking the case.

there will be more quests. Upgrading the summoning stone stayed on my quest ribbon for a LOOONG time!

I still have the make 3 friends for 10 gems quest .

Exactly why I said probably. I read that article a long time ago and didn't really remember if it was a law or just some rule to the stores. But again,even if it was one, it wouldn't matter because no one wod go through that kind of hassle.
