What do you use to make Gifs like this?

well i'm not so hot at making gifs so i actually did some things with the ostrich heads in photoshop, slapped them and the original gif into sony vegas, converted everything as a low-quality wmv, then imported it into photoshop as a gif and saved it.

Oh and

nah, you don't need it (MY WAY IS REALLY DUMB AND I DON'T THINK ANYONE ELSE USES SONY VEGAS FOR GIFS)
i think you'd be good with just using the usual method like photoshop or gimp or something
