I decided not to purchase the game day one, Maybe I'll get it on ebay someday, but the way Activision seem to have bumped too hard in this game really ruined my plan of purchase.

I'm wondering if anyone knows how Sales are going for this game as of now. Is it Selling out in the stores around you (Figures, Traps, Games)? I haven't went to any stores to see for myself as I now live a ways away from any.
I just want to know if there is a decline and if it's noticeable so maybe ACTIVISION will learn from this.

If it doesn't sell well I bet the big wigs will blame it on Disney Infinity rather than their own mistakes, and then decide the next game needs to be more like Disney Infinity. I really hope I'm wrong, because I love Skylanders but don't care for Disney Infinity at all - Skylanders is a game with toys, DI is a toy with some games, I prefer the former, plus I don't like their even-more-evil-than-Skylanders money-making ploy of having to buy stuff in sealed packs where you don't know what's in the pack until you open it and it could be something you already have. No thanks!! If Skylanders goes that route, I'm done with them.

EDIT: On-topic though, I have no idea, the shelves were picked pretty clean at my local Target, but my local TRU seemed to have plenty of units still available.

So far the only part of Trap Team that seems to be selling well in these parts, is Wallop. After purchasing him, every store I have gone into is sold out. They have everything/everyone else.

So far I haven't seen any Skylanders figures sell as well as Giants did. Doesn't mean they aren't, just I haven't noticed.

It is because he's low stocked.

Everything sold out within half an hour of opening at my local Target, Ebgames, Jbhifi and Big W.
all they currently have between them is a couple of shroombooms and Krypt Kings.

they all had decent sized displays too,

I'm not that impressed with the Trapmasters themselves. They seem to pale in comparison to the Giants and Swap Force before them. They just seem real...bland. Wallop is an exception to the blandness, so I can see why the post before this calls him out. *shrugs* Either way, if the game is fun, that will be forgiven, but I'm not that sold on a lot of the Trappers. Gearshift and Gusto are especially bland in person. Krypt King and Jawbreaker are nothing to go gaga over. The size too...Seems like these ones are a tad too large. They should have been more trap team sized.

Summation: They looked a lot cooler on my computer screen than in-person.

What makes Wallop seem so much less bland? I don't see his appeal, at least when you look at already existing Skylanders. He seems like just another Stump Smash or Crusher or any number of other hammer-based Skylanders. Am I missing something about him that makes him cool?

At first, I was going to wait until Black Friday to get anything. Now, however, with the bugs and other complaints, and considering how brazenly uncreative the money-grab distraction is this time around, I'm closer to sitting this one out entirely.

Most parents and the die-hard fans will probably still spend a fortune on Trap Team; Disney Infinity 2.0 selling at all is proof that the majority don't care much about unbiased, honest reviews. But to alienate intelligent, quality-savvy fans with what is undoubtedly the worst of the four games so far despite having two years to build a product?

For those willing to listen, the peals of the death knell for toys-to-life games can be heard in the distance.

Wallop looks like a cheap imitation of Rubble Rouser...he is available for $15.99 on Amazon.com right now. I see the trend being lower stock in stores on certain Skylanders limited in shipments to one per box resulting in us having to purchase online or truly having to hunt in stores. It'll only get worse as Skylanders sales struggle and retail stores start refusing to reorder stock. This is the 4th game in the series now and I see this game as the start of a big decline in sales.
