Don't just take power as a factor here. Think about there speed and armour if it takes any affect on how well they do against enemies. I preferably would like people to test these in Nightmare Mode but I guess Hard Mode will do for now. Also, the character must be fully upgraded and should be Level 20 (It's okay if they aren't right now since the game is new). Make sure you test them properly and give valid reasons. I'll join in as soon as I get the game and test characters.

Early Draft:

S 5/5 Tier
Bash Granite Dragon
A 4/5 Tier

B 3/5 Tier
Blades Shard Shooter

C 2/5 Tier

F 1/5 Tier

I believe Matteo already made a villain tier list so let's keep this purely about the Skylanders.

Yeah, I guess you're right. They probably wouldn't mix very well with Villains not having health.

I would have contributed by now but I don't get the game until tomorrow so keep going.

Will this include characters from previous games since their damage output changed?

Bash on the Granite Dragon path(I haven't tried the other path yeet)in S tier, no doubt about it. His regular tail swipe does as much as the gaia hammer did on SSA and SG, and the gaia hammer in this game does over 900 damage.

Does Bop do the same amount if so then the mini's should be ranked the same and the regular counterparts.

Yep, I just tested that myself to see if it was true and it is so. An important thing to note is that certain Skylanders may have a damage on the dummies which is actually more than it should be so always test on enemies.

smilie Snapshot himself is pretty good, I have him on his arrow path - the splintering and exploding arrows are too useful to pass up, and I never used the Tidepool attack. He's great at clearing rooms of small foes and against anyone who is primarily long range, but he gets pretty chewed up against bosses and even most villain fights (on Hard). His Crystal Slam attack is good, but unless it lands the killing blow, it often leaves him vulnerable - he's definitely a one trick pony. I'd say he's in A or B tier.

On the other hand, Wildfire is great all around. I haven't tested the ability of his shield to block attacks much, but his primary shield bash seems to rip through enemies, be it a boss or a group. and his Chains attack is a great utility attack that sets him up for combos. His Fire Roar is cool, but leaves him a bit too vulnerable. I wish his Soul Gem attack lasted a bit longer - although the pounce seems really powerful, it also doesn't make sense that the Roar cancels it. I put him on the Shield Smasher attacks thinking they'd be good because that's the primary attack I use, but I reset it because I feel like the Chain Champion is better - I just wish they didn't waste time improving the Roar damage when they should've improved the chains. Wish you could just switch paths for these guys. He's probably in S/A tier.

Krypt King is great, doubtless. His Haunted Sword is an interesting attack that I always want to use, despite leaving him vulnerable. His Swarm is a great let-fly-and-forget attack, and his broadsword has great range and does tons of damage. His main problem is against bosses, where he's a bit too slow to dodge attacks. I'd probably put him in A tier instead of S solely because of his speed. Most people recommend upgrading his Swarm and I did the same - the only argument I could see for the top path is if the Armor upgrade is better than the heal, but the Stun effect is too important to pass up.

Finally, the last Trapmaster I use is Wallop. While his Tantrum mode is great for clearing small-medium mobs, it leaves you extremely vulnerable against anything it doesn't kill immediately. His Hammer Toss and Hammer Collide attacks both make up for this - they have great range and seek out enemies, and both do respectable damage. Because of this, I chose to upgrade them instead of the dangerous Tantrum Mode - the shrapnel only does a minuscule damage-over-time, but the explosion and shrapnel help to control mobs. Still, none of it does enough damage to be incredible, so while he's loads of fun to play and certainly useful, he's probably only a B.

While I have Gusto and Jawbreaker, others on the board have informed me that they are inferior to the other Trapmasters in their element, so they're still in the box.
