That being said, I've noticed that some of the older items' effects have changed, the ones from Giants are more like they were in Giants especially, but some have changed a lot.
- The Dragonfire cannon now shoots a laser again like in Giants
- Anvil Rain actually seeks out enemies instead of falling randomly (the fallen anvils do still get in your way, but they don't stay)
- the old adventure packs do 999 damage again with the shockwave burst (Volcanic Vault does the same thing as Dragon's Peak)
- the treasure chest only finds one chest per level again
- the battle hammer works much like the hand of fate, it seeks out enemies and hits them in the head (doesn't cause knock-back anymore)
- Fiery Forge seeks out enemies to drip molten steel on them
- The Sky Diamond drops diamonds when you destroy objects like barrels, crates, etc. It doesn't work on enemies in Trap Team.
- Sparx seeks out enemies, and triple shots their faces. Sound of his attack is REALLY LOUD. Also, he still creates butterflies from defeated foes and they heal you, but he has to give them to you. It also does not show the "+__" when you receive health from butterflies, but your health does go up.
The one item I haven't been able to figure out in Trap Team is the Sky Diamond though... It doesn't seem to do anything anymore. In Swap Force it made diamonds come out of anything you hit, but I can't seem to figure out if it's doing anything at all in Trap Team... Anyone else figure out its new effect?
I haven't had a chance to test out any of the other old magic items' effects...
