Welcome to DS Werewolf! It was a game that popped up a few months ago, started by prextail202. By now, I've taken control of the hosting for season 2!

What is it?
Its a game similar to DS Survivor, but on a much simpler basis. Yes, there are Day and Night phases, and each player will have a role in-game. Two of which will be werewolves, the rest Villagers with special abilities that can be used as stated, once per night phase and how many uses it has, and when the abilities expire, and so on.
Flavor text will be written for Day and Night phases, this is just for fun and does not reflect how I feel about any of the players!

FAQ

So what are the roles?

I can't say any other specific one than the werewolf role, because, well, that would be spoiling the game!
Each game, two players are assigned the role of Werewolf, and they must try to kill off all other players by agreeing on who to kill off each night phase.

So what about the voting?

Each night phase, every player, including the werewolves (But not the killed players, as you can't do anything if you're dead, unless specified with a role) will choose who they want to vote out of the game, they player with the most votes will be killed off, and their role revealed within the storyline of the game.

The winner is decided when...

Werewolves- Kill off all villagers
Villagers- Kill off all werewolves

When does this start? Can I join?

Each game will start pretty frequently after the last one has concluded. If the topic title says [OPEN], then you're free to join! However, you cannot hop in the game while a current one is progressing. If you do show interest mid-game, I'll let you know at the end of the game so you can join the next season.

Can I tell others my role?

No, not at all. This is considered breaking the rules of the game, and anyone caught doing so will be disqualified.
In fact, any form of cheating is a one way ticket down the disqualification trail.
And just so you know...if you locate a werewolf and try to tell someone, that also counts as role-sharing and is prohibited.

How do villagers communicate?

Villagers can indeed chat and discuss, but they may not talk about roles. They can decide on a certain player to eliminate, but the game would be over too quickly if they identified a werewolf and voted them out!

FAQ about co-hosts

How do I become a co-host?
Currently, I am staying away from co-hosts this game until it becomes stable again. If its activity returns to normal, I may either step down to give someone else a chance or recruit a co-host.

What does a Co-Host do?
Co-hosts can start/end night/day phases and post the bit of storyline for those phases, Co-Hosts may not participate in the game they are co-hosting in! They will also take charge when the host is unable to post.

The Smash Brothers were merely celebrating the success of the new game, when it all went wrong. A spectator turned up dead at night. Despite the wide variety of Smashers there, the unholy wounds signaled the cause- a werewolf, or even more. Upon teaming up with some other Smash Brothers, it was decided: the werewolves' reign of horror would have to end. Every Smasher would put in a vote to eliminate one of them, and sure enough, the werewolves would be found! ...Right? Put an end to their murder spree before more than spectators fall...

Epic popthorn and MagicFizz were hanging out in the Smash Stadium. The two were making bets on who was going to win- a Lucario, or a Yoshi.
"Yoshi's a dinosaur!" Epic insisted. "They're supposed to be fierce!"
"But his face just screams 'I'm adorable!' Besides, you know what happens when Lucario's percentage gets high..."
True to MagicFizz's logic, the Yoshi was clobbered halfway across the stage.
"Guys, pain yatta is getting most of us together!" StormDragon21 exclaimed as she approached. "There's something important."
"Darn it!" the two others said at once.
prextail202, who was with Storm, shrugged. "Aren't you curious?"
MagicFizz and Epic scratched their heads sheepishly.
"Come on," Storm sighed. "I'm sure it's not going to be as boring as that one discussion about if Blue Shells are OP or not..."
Some time later...
The twelve Smash Brothers (and Sisters!) were soon gathered at the meeting place.
"Listen, everyone!" Pain began. "The Smash tournament officials have made a discovery. It is something so drastic and horrifying that I am surprised the tournament hasn't been cancelled!"
Most of them rolled their eyes. They didn't think it was anything as bad as Pain was saying.
Until the Smasher pointed to a long box. Troll Slug bravely wandered over, to see what was inside.
His face blanched as he made the discovery. "Icky! Why did you shove a person inside a box?"
The others soon pushed forward to see what was inside.
"Is she...dead?" assassinelf whispered.
"No way!" epicLLOYD gasped.
"Who did this?" darkwolf demanded.
pain yatta looked over everyone. "That's what we aim to find out," he said steadily.
gary was leaning against a wall. "So...why'd you call us? Do you think WE did it?"
"Take a closer look," Pain instructed. They did, and soon, I-Brawler made the connection.
"A beast of some kind...no! Not anyone. A beast with terrible, magic properties..." Everyone turned to him.
"I mean a werewolf!"
"Impossible!" Epic popthorn said. "I've never seen one!"
dinorang67 rolled her eyes. "Pfft. Just 'cause you haven't SEEN one doesn't mean they don't EXIST."
Troll Slug nodded in agreement. "I mean, everyone believes in Santa...but have you seen him?"
"Uh, Troll Slug..." Gary sneered, intending to crush the Smasher's dreams.
"Not now, Gary," darkwolf hushed him. He turned to I-Brawler. "You are sure this threat is a werewolf?"
I-Brawler nodded. "You can see here and here, where the wound mark has been-"
"O-okay, that's enough," epicLLOYD coughed.
"Let's make a plan," MagicFizz decided.
"Truthfully...the werewolf could be any of us," StormDragon thought aloud.
Pain yatta nodded approvingly. "It's VERY likely that it could be us."
At that, everyone cast suspicious looks around each other. Except for Troll Slug, who exclaimed "Ooh, a penny!" and grabbed it off the ground.
"But there's always a solution!" Prextail chirped.
"Yes," agreed darkwolf. "Chat amongst yourselves. We can do this democratically. Then, we make a vote. Whoever has the most votes..."
"But the Smash tournament needs us!" Gary spat. "Our voters can't just go around, randomly killing off Smashers! What if it's not even us?"
Assassinelf glanced at him calmly. "It's either us that kills...or the werewolves."
