3DS and gusto [CLOSED]

Is this the first year that the 3ds won't have an exclusive skylander? From what I've seen in the pics on amazon the Barkley is old and the gusto is the same as you can buy in a single pack. Am I missing something?

nope, your not missing anything, there is no exclusive variant in the 3DS version

I WAS missing something. The repeat minis are playable like real skylanders now so red base barkley in the 3ds version is currently the only way to play as barkley.

Those who have Barkley from Giants should be able to play as him as well. There should be no difference, other than base colour.

I assume if Gusto gets an individual release, Barkley will be released in a 2-pack with Whisper Elf eventually.

Yes the old giants barkley is playable as well. No need to get the new one.

Ah, I was originally under the assumption they put orange base minis in with the new red ones.
