Blades
Path 1: "Follow Like the Wind" - Cyclone swirl follows you more closely and spins Blade Shards faster. "Crushing Cyclones" - Enemies inside the Cyclone Swirl take increased damage from other attacks. "Shielding Swirl" - Cyclone Swirl is bigger and can deflect enemy projectiles. Path 2: "Slice Shards" - Wing Slice attacks occasionally shoot Blade Shards. "Cutting Edge" - Blade Shards do increased damage. "Shard Shrapnel" Blade Shards stick to enemies, causing more damage over time. Haven't tried either, but will probably go the cyclone path.

Swarm path for krypt king for sure. They are so helpful. Also the tidal path for snap shot makes him super powerful too.

I think the best path for Bushwhack is the axe path because I use the axe the most.

I have these paths
Bloomer and Boomer - The Blooms of Doom are actually very helpful and do more damage than his tomatoes. They also have better range and attack more enemies. With out this path, the Blooms aren't all that helpful. Armor Awesomeness - He needs the speed from his charging head smash and he can heal himself which is always good. Besides he already has great offense, he needs a good defense and he is perfectly balanced. Dizzy Destroyer - This path not only makes Gusto faster, but he can't get hurt in ball form and his mini tornadoes on this path help too. Bamboo Bonanza - The fault lines are OK as is, but with healing bamboo, it does get better. It's like with that the Floral Defender makes the mushroooms useful by turning into harmful cacti. Drag Racer - This path is more fun and stronger at the same time. The spin isn't all that good and the soul gem can benefit from this path. Forged in Flames - Her horseshoes aren't that great, but the torch is awesome. The horseshoes are already good as is and the blue flames are awesome. I'll have more thoughts when I get the rest of the guys I want.

I chose the other path for gusto as I hardly use his secondary attack . But now I kind of regret as the lightning ball sounds pretty good.

I have no idea what path to choose for . Any suggestions?(I'm currently on the Stomp Harder path)
Also, does anyone know what modulating the pitch of the yodel do on the other path? The damage seems to stay the same regardless of the pitch, as well as the area of effect.

I choose the throwing star path for Lob-Star. He can still "boil" himself to shoot incredibly fast but now has 3x better throwing stars, a star shield that circles him and a power up throw for almost 5x the damage. (I normally do 40 - 50 damage, the dual throw does 240-251 damage)

For wild fire, i choose combos path for getting new moves.
I don't find the fire slings very useful, I prefered adding variety to the gameplay. And a question, what type skylanders can change his path freely? I saw my fire bone hot dog can but not many others, i didn't get that.

I've got to disagree with Fab here. The slings are great at drawing in enemies and allowing you to do close ranged damage. They're not meant to be big damage dealers, but instead allow you to set up your combos and dealing with small threats. I never found myself wanting/needing to use the combo buttons when I had them - sure they add a few extra things, but he's got enough AOE and mobility with his regular attack that he shouldn't need the extra combos, and he already has is able to attack from the air (albeit not as strong). His Soul Gem Lion Form is plenty without adding combos. |

Hey guys I am making a bunch of path guide videos as we speak! To help you all out so far I have gotten these results so far:
-Krypt King - Both are amazing honestly -Wildfire - Both are great -Bushwack - Armor path because you need a balance -Food Fight - Zuccunic Blast one -Fist Bump - The rock path one, not bamboo -Jawbreaker - I like both but the Rage Robo Mode one is beast! -Choppper - Rockets -Headrush - Stomp Path -Wallop - The attacking one with the rage mode thing up top -Torch - Both are great but flamethrower is nasty now -Funny Bone - He sucks but saw one is better -Deja Vu - I love her bottom path where the clone does damage and all that jazz -stay tuned for more path guides by wdrumz =D

Snap shot
-I have only tried tide turner for him but I am very satisfied with this path and I recommend it. It increases the size of the torrential tidepool and it boosts the damage from 75 to 130. I find this attack very fun to use and it is fairly powerful. Although crack shot croc seems like a good path too I just don't think it would be as fun. Food fight -Again I only tried one upgrade path for him which is the bloomer and boomer path. I strongly recommend this path, mainly because of the choke chain upgrade which causes the blooms of doom to detonate each other and they do more damage (which isn't mentioned in the upgrade description but I have noticed it). The blooms of doom deal 211 damage on this path (without this upgrade they deal 176) and they detonate each other in about three seconds. During that time you can plant 3 of them, meaning you can deal over 600 damage in just 3 seconds. The other upgrades improve the zucchini blast however they aren't as good as the choke chain upgrade but I would say they are still decent.

In general, as with previous Skylander games, paths which include "Combos" are generally not worth using as they usually offer no increased damage (ironically, mostly decreased damage) or versatility over just smashing the attack without combo.
I've played both Bushwack and Wild Fire to level 15 on both of their respective paths and, strictly from an effectiveness and damage perspective, the "avoid combo paths" generality holds true for each of them. Bushwack gains more long-range-poke with Armor Awesomeness as well as the ability to heal himself. In addition, once you have his Soul Gem ability, you will find that chopping trees down much more effective than any path-combos for melee. Wild Fire's Chain Champion allows for a much easier, quicker, more effective usage of his Shield Bash ability which already has a massive wide attack berth, damage, and attack speed. In addition, even though Fire Roar is infrequently used, it is very effective when upgraded to Blazing Breath for fights you want to / have to stay at range; you can take out "Drop Ships" and the enemies before they even land. |

Thus the "In general" beginning ... there are always exceptions. Although, honestly, I personally haven't played enough Krypt King to agree or disagree with you on him in specific :-) |

I went with the non-arrow path for Snap Shot because I wanted to yell out "RELEASE THE KRAKEN" every time I use that move.

Krypt King's combo path is better? I thought the Swarm one would be better due to the healing ability. |

He is my favorite Trap Master and I have mine fully upgraded. I chose the ram path because it gives Bushwhack speed and a healing ability also the extra armor defiantly helps. I haven't tried the other path but I'd rather have healing, more armor and adding more speed to a slow Skylander instead of powering up a already powerful ax. |
