Anyway, how far is everyone in the game? What in your opinion is the hardest monster to face?

Personally the Queropeco pisses me off to no end. I can kill anything else, but that stupid bird....

The village quest of Jhen Mohran gets me every time. I have 5 minutes left and he body slams my ship into submission. Ending the quest. I hate you so much Jhen o_o

Haven't gotten that far yet, but I hear a lot of complaints about him.

Both weapons I frequently use. I prefer Nargacuga armor with any duel blades I get for that extra evasion. For switch axe I find Helios Z armor works well with any switch axe. As far as gunlances go I think Brachydios armor is a pretty good choice for the bombardier skill. I'm such a nerd

oh and wait until you get to G Rank Peco. Deviljho in every quest.

Deviljho...... Yeah, never faced one. But supposedly they're the "hunters bane" or something.

Honestly I'd just hunt all the other large monsters, then go after the queropeco.

Yeah, keep in mind that jho that shows up in peco quests can drop itmes that cant get from normal deviljho. but dragon-blight is not something to mess with. bring plenty of nullberries or Cha-Cha/Kayamba with Nullberry mask :3 hope this helps when you eventually get there lol

lol trust me, you should NOT Look forward to fighting this guy some high quests however, like Stygian Zinogre, Azure Rathalos, or even a Brachydios, Are lots of fun showing that not every monster has the same fighting strategy. However, Goldbeard Cedeaus and the peco.... quests to dread my friend.

On the risk of sounding stupid, what does dragonblight do again?

I actually didn't know what dragon-blight did until I looked it up 3 days ago Dragon-blight removes all elemental damage from weapons. So if you were to use Dios Slicers, (Brachydios Duel Blades) it would remove all slime damage from your weapon. Pretty devastating if you don't have any nullberries

Alright, so, at my current state it would have 0 effect.

Eventually, you get weapons with elemental power from 200-300 elemental damage, crucial to any quest, elemental damage. (How many times have I said that? )

Oh I understand. I'm planning on switching to the Dios Gunlances, so it will then have an effect.

Lemme give you a little tip :3 Completely ignore village quests for awhile, and hunt online at the port (For Wii U) and just go up in the ranks to get better weapons and armor. What I did was start off, then go to the port and get pimped out with gear. I recommend the same then farm some Brachydios and get the armor for his gunlance :3

What are the boosts for the Brachydios armour?

the charge ability you get, Wyvern Fire. More Explosive damage :3

Wyvern Fire OP as HECK! This is what an Ivory Lagiacrus Gunlance, a pitfall trap, and 4 Wyvern Fire each can do
