Nice find! These are going for less than $10 on EBay these days. I was able to pick mine up a few weeks ago with the entire 3DS starter pack of a Swap Force for $15 at TRU with the Frito Lay coupon. This is still great for those who collect all the individual figures and keep them in their packaging.

For those interested, Volcanic Eruptor is free in store when you purchase two Trap Team items (including just two traps). He comes in a baggie similar to GameStop's Punch Pop Fizz promo.

So if you purchase this figure off the website, you'll get it in a baggie? It seems awful cheap of them not to give these out in normal packaging for those paying $9.99 for it.

I would be surprised if they created a different run of them just for the web orders.

I ordered via the website, got a message that my order was going to be delayed, so placed a pick up order online (which I then cancelled when I went in and discovered that I could buy two $5 traps and get him. If my web order shows up soon, I'll post if it comes in a box.

This is the variant Eruptor that only came in the 3DS starter kit so I don't believe it ever had standalone normal retail packaging. Thus the baggie.

True but some (like myself) were wishing it might have had a stand alone packaging, much like the UK area got a single of dark spyro and punch pop fizz in their own boxes etc.

Finally, I don't have to buy the 3DS version! Now where's my Royal Double Trouble single guys!

Just picked one up. Kudos to buying it without having to get a 3DS.

I have royal DD but even I would love to see him come out like this even for those not willing to pay $40 for the battlegrounds pack or even for the rest of the world that didnt get him.
